Ypu can tame mawrats, they are almost the same thing.

The soul eaters I fought in beastlands seem like a new model for warpstalkers.
Maybe a future pet? Wouldnt be the first time they held something out for an expac then one day your on petopia and… BAM zombie T-rex.
Maybe Tome of Shadowtaming or some such nonsense name to tame mawbeasts in the future? Something to look forward too.

I think it wasn’t an entire expac but we couldn’t tame them at the beginning of Legion and it was just the dumbest thing.
Maybe their cultivating the whole “Nothing escapes the maw!” mentality that were supposed to fear that clown fiesta, and having 100 random hunters running about with their shadowdragons would discourage it?
Idk. 9.1 will be the end of the second SL beta that were all in (the… gamma?), so maybe then?
Hoping they don’t pop the ability to tame them in torghast. That would be terrible!
I kind of want one myself.
I mean we can tame mawrats, so I don’t really see a reason why we shouldn’t be able to tame these as well.
