What they are doing is awesome. You can do PvE for gearing and if you need to target a specific gear slot, then you can save up conquest to get PvP gear.
What’s the problem here?
The problem, imho, is people having withdrawal symptoms from loot being vomited on us in BFA.

I don’t want Versatility on my Hunter’s pieces, and I absolutely have to PvP to obtain specific gear on my Mage.
Oh, and PvE gearing goes at a snail’s pace past 190 ilvl. Raids drop one item too few and M+ is only efficient for gearing if you’re timing very high keys.

It’s P2 win now buy tokens from Blizzards so they can buy gear buy carries and mats. Really I can’t believe people are not seeing this Xpac is working just as Blizzard intended probably making more money selling tokens then subs in this Xpac.

Going X amount of runs without a single drop. People writing it off are just being close minded to the actual issue.
If you are lucky or like that it takes X amount of time or PVP then good for you but it seems to be disproportionately unrewarding now for the time invested so people are complaining.
I do think PvE needs the Justice and Valor Vendors back. that should solve the issue.

Played almost 3 weeks now didn’t do any real raiding nor m+ yet. Hmmm. Almost 200 ilvl not hard.

Actually I liked it for the enchanting mats lol
It gets AWFULLY slow thereafter. Take it from someone whose Hunter is stuck at 209 and only really sees a noticeable jump on Tuesdays.

Because people are used to getting everything handed to them at heroic ilvl but not having to raid heroic and instead just afk auto attack in Heroic Warfronts and world bosses among other things.
Also, it cracks me up how much people whine about the weekly vault. BfA you only got ONE item and it was only for M+. Now, you can get up to 9 slots and allows raiders and pvpers to actually get a weekly cache. But then people cry because they didn’t get an item they need and end up saying it is a horrible system and wah wah wah.

Ok can you be more specific? What content are you doing in game that are letting you gear to ilvl 200 without M+ or raids?
there are people going 15+ times mythics and entire raids without a drop… multiply that across alts and its burning some folx out fast.

Ppl said 180+, then 190, 200, and now 210?
If I want 210 I will do m+ or raid it’s not hard.
A combo of a few things imo
Slower gearing pace and small increases in power per piece of gear (which feels even less due to how scaling works) has upset a few people.
There are also people who feel the secondary stats have become either to boring or unbalanced (to much verse gear is the common complaint I hear)
Along with other complaints I’ve seen like conduits being dull, legendaries being lame and the fact that upgrading covenant gear is time gated I can see why a lot of people are frustrated.
If you want 210 you’re going to be farming a LOT of M+ to get those specific pieces you need.
And be prepared to clear 9/10 or 10/10 several times only to not get a single decent piece of loot whatsoever.
