Why are so many people mad with this expansion? It’s a complete 180 from the trash heap that was BFA.
There is so much content to do it is amazing, sure the world quests aren’t perfect but it’s a good system. I love torghast and the challenges it throws at you, it’s really not too hard as long as you take your time reading what the buffs do and be careful with your pulls.
The dungeons are well made and not too hard.
Pvp is great again, so many people playing battlegrounds again and I love it. Sure some classes excell more then others right now but overall I think pvp is fun again. Especially with vendors.
As far as world pvp goes and people being killed in the maw…well that’s a you problem for turning warmode on. If you dont want to be killed in the world just shut it off…but don’t turn it on then complain you are dying…
That’s like sticking your hand in fire and complaining it burns.
Overall I am quite pleased with shadowlands and I hope it continues to get better.
I’m happy with most everything. I hate the maw, it’s horrible. And looks like I’m about done with torghast, from what I’m reading that added a timer and that will kill it for me.
i am mostly happy, though i disagree on the ‘so much content’ part… i rather enjoy that i can get to the weekend and have mostly everything done i wanted to do that week.
Time will tell. New ex-pac hype is still pretty strong. I have jumped ship already but I predict people will dislike this expansion pretty soon. Unless Blizzard does yet another 180 on certain things. It’s doesn’t take much to turn popular opinion around.
“Quality” is an opinion really. But, the fact that doamy are displeased isn’t a good metric? So…just ignore what many people say is an issue? That’s a bad practice. (Yet Blizz does it all the time)
It’s not ‘so many.’ It is the vocal minority who frequent these forums to complain. It’s what they do. Out of the millions of folks playing the game, there are a few sad folk who like to cry about stuff -but they keep paying for, and playing the stuff-
Oh people are always mad about something. It’s the same with every expansion. Some are happy with it, others not so much. Opinions and all that. The latter tend to come to the forums. Nothing Blizz does will make a universally loved expansion.
It’s very biased here on the forums though. Don’t take it as a sign that everyone hates SL. Very few people come here and half of them are salty. There’s many who are really enjoying the expansion.
