Yeah sure theres a couple of colossal sized shields but bro I want crusader diablo 3 sized shields or high fantasy sized giga-shields. I’m tired of these tiny dinner plates and serving trays. I want to hide behind my shield and feel safe and sound. Not fear that I’m going to run out of hors d’ouevres for my guests.

Depends on your race/sex.
For reasons I can’t fathom, human female models have HUGE weapon/shield sizes compared to their body. Draenei females, meanwhile, have TINY weapon/shield sizes compared to their body. I wish Blizzard would go back and adjust them a little bit to be honest.
My main is a human female paladin, and 90% of the shields look wonky and oversized. Plus her one-handed weapons are about the same size as a draenei female’s 2-handed weapons.
The term your looking for is “Tower shields”, and it would be nice to get them yes.

The one issue I see is smaller races like gnomes and goblins having extreme clipping with the floor on huge shield models (even scaled)
Would be awesome if they added a “weapon size” slide bar to tmog options though
If I can’t throw it as the Avenger’s Shield art, I don’t care.
It’s infuriating trying to find a 2 handed weapon with a decently long haft.
Even polearms, the weapons who’s entire identity is being a knife on a very long stick, have such short handles. It’s absurd.
If you really want to get triggered. Check the size of shield and sword on Draenai.
It is so badly composed that any shield you put on male draenai. Goes small. Lmao.
It strikes me as a crime that there are no shields that match the appearance of the Avenger’s Shield ability.
There also aren’t enough kite shields with good models. The Tyr’s Guard Bulwark is one of the best shields in the game.
Really, they need good, simple shield models of all types. There are way too many absurd or funky looking shields and too few sensible looking shields with decent models.

The only 2 specs that really use their shields are wearing plate armor anyway. The shields are pointless regardless of how big they are.

Fantasy class design is funny like that. Shields were for the lightly armored troops, not for the heavies but even D&D seems to think it was the other way around.
Even the one handed maces and axes could really do for some bulkier options.
