The theater event is close to 3,000 gold with the additional chests. Other chest events are closer to 2,000 gold. There are routinely 800+ gold world quests on the map for me.

For me that bright purple outline is something I can spot miles away. I’m an herbalist, so just idling around picking flowers will usually net me a bunch. Sometimes they spawn three or more within view of each other! Also, the loot from mobs spawned from the wax is shared, and multiple people can loot the basic wax mound (forget the name). The only time you don’t share wax is the one where it tosses you into the air and you have to grab them on the way down.
We did talk about trolling:
These mobs seem to be immune to taunt.

Other quests that awarded more gold are giving much less now. Skyriding used to give roughly 700-800 now gives 150 gold. lol.

I think it is not even worth asking about your gameplay and how that suffices you because I already said that unless you have a decent incoming from professions, you’ll run out of gold.
I think it is pointless to discuss professions here when the argument is that gold rewards in TWW are considerable smaller than we used to have in Dragonflight AND repair/xmog costs have gone up considerably.
Professions have been a gold sink for me this expansion actually. I craft for myself and do not advertise for tips.
So, no, this is also not true.
What you’re saying is that you can’t do dragon courses/races on a few alts and call it good for gold making for the week. Gold rewards have been shifted but they are not in fact smaller.

Aye, my guild bank is suffering because of the lack of income in the last couple expansions and repair costs for guildies going through the roof. Something has to change.

Honest, I’m not sure how you’re doing it. I don’t buy a lot off of the AH (and neither do I sell, I just grab as much as possible to be convenient for patron orders and skill ups). Push weeks on stuff like Zekvir and T11 delves absolutely wreck my gold income. I’m dedicating more time in TWW to building up gold than I have in a long time and getting less money for it.
I don’t even flask / food for things like Zekvir, that costs too much.

How are you getting that much for just two hours? I use phials and farm for a total of one hour, barely any time between nodes, non-stop and have only made $10-15k at most.

That’s your complaint. I’m sorry that you have to do other things now.
There was never a reason to give people 10k weekly across their account for playing Mario Kart (minus the hazards) in WoW.

I kid. But yeah I had one 1300g the other day and almost had a heart attack. But the 800g world quests are pretty quick and easy.
Raid and M+ combined eat up tons of gold. I farmed 600k week 1 of TWW, wanna know how much is left?
40k is all i gots now. And i literally only purchased consumables, repairs, and gear related mats. No mounts, no tmogs, no repair hammers etc.
