te wrechid are the ones who overdosed, they are literal mana junkies, the ones draining fel in game are just standard civilians.
Retcons are rarely a good thing or justifation. and generally come with continuity errors, like the fact npcs are still sucking fel in the city.
Actually, Tauren and zandalari and kul’tirans get better druid racials.
Nightelves get a nice gimmic if they are cat focused, which few are because feral druid sucks right now. The strongest and most used druid spec is restoration, which nightelf racials arn’t useful for.
Worgen racials do infact suck and really need buffed. but Nightelf racials are far from ‘the best’ infact, other than shadowmeld which is a cool gimmic and hardly broken, the rest of our racials are trash.
Ironically, goblin racials are better.
Uh. What? Shadowmeld is ridiculous in arena, provides a druid with a free get out of jail free card and allows instantaneous drinking during comps like RMX which are heavy for resetting after getting CD’s. Shadowmeld is one of the best racials for a healer (especially rdruid) in arena bar none.
I’m not sure human males really qualify as “pretty”… we look like apes and our casters look like they curl with their tomes and then eat them instead of reading them… we’re like less-roided orcs that aren’t green.

Wdym both variations of Draenei are pretty but don’t have crazy racial traits.

Those are burning crystals, they are simply speculated to be fel crystals. The burning crystals were present way before arthas rekt silvermoon. The only possible way that they are fel crystals is if the magisters who created them are lying to everyone and the civillian population. Even then they aren’t directly feeding off it.
They’re obviously not very stealthy then, are they?
Also Night Elves Shadow Meld goes back to warcraft 3, maybe earlier? It’s not just something they cooked up for the MMO like the other racials.

IIRC that’s also because Fel used to be derived from corrupted arcane magic but that is now retconned.
Kael made feeding off fel popular politically but that went away when the sunwell got cleansed in BC.
Thing is though, we Enhancement Shamans don’t have many Damage Reduction, we have one, the rest of our stuff is self-healing.
