I hope you’re not referring to Shadowmeld. Dropping combat and “interrupting” is incredibly powerful in many circumnstances.
that’s false, the average Blood Elf only fed off of Arcane energy up till the Sunwell was restored (and even then it is a font of Arcane and Holy magic). the Fel crystals placed throughout Silvermoon were used to power the city since the Sunwell was gone. Blood Elves are just influenced by the latent magic in the air which is why they had green eyes. just like how Orcs now have green skin because of their past connection to the Fel. if you noticed, the Fel Elves in the Sunwell raid looked different than regular Blood Elves, and the Fel Orcs look different than both Mag’har and Horde Orcs.
Blood Elves mostly fed on living things like the Mana Wyrms found throughout Eversong Woods.

Literally 40% of druid players are night elves because of how busted the racial is.

It’s been debunked for a while - at least some years. All accurate sources have had this information, especially for the RP community, for a long time. The blood elf and high elf debate more so came from feeding on animals - which the blood elves are guilty of. They’re guilty of mana vampirism and draining M’uru, but not feeding on fel.

hey I’m puré the belf paladin posting on this thread. I’m a zandalari cause they are cool and the armor models / casting animations and lack of a fat bird is far superior over the horde variants. But i’m also a nelf druid on alliance because thats what makes the most sense lore wise. If worgen casting animations werent so awful i would be worgen instead of night elf. Has nothing to do with shadowmeld.
The blood elf leader is not a paladin, which was confirmed by Blizzard developers to be the only people who have golden eyes are people devoted to the light - so priests and paladins. Lor’themar is a ranger, thus his eyes remain green. Devs tweeted about that a while ago.
Not true, Bloodelves were sucking up fel magic activly from those crystals, infact you can go to silvermoon RIGHT NOW and they are still doing it

It was a poor attempt at a retcon to try and make bloodelves less sinister, which frankly ruined their identity.
Some NPCs did. For the thousandth time, playable characters never do.

Which doesn’t matter, because it was retconned. Silvermoon has been outdated for literal years. Developers say it’s not the case, and it was retconned, thus it’s not the case, and was retconned. Blood elf player characters are never once seen, partaking, or participate in the act of draining fel.
just like drugs if you do to much it ruins your appearance and sanity. Those elves refused to limit themselves and gave into the addiction.

Trolls and Tauren are almost even in numbers; Alliance side you see 99 nelf Druids for every Worgen.
