Why are premades allowed?

Premade groups in random BGs have been around forever. If that upsets you, then I’d stick to farming wolves in Elwynn Forest

Way to use 11 words to say absolutely nothing.

Oh, I’ll talk slower for you then.

A person who routinely shows up in BG logs with the same set of other players on the regular- to the point that it’d be mathematically impossible by chance- can be identified.

Similarly it shouldn’t be hard to program match making to prefer unique matches over having a bunch of people on the same team every single time.

Bringing this and any PVP/community issue up feels like yelling into the void at this point.

Fair - It could be identified.

And then nothing done, they are not breaking any rules and this isn’t something that should be made against the rules. Particularly not in unrated PvP. Now if someone is doing this to wintrade solo shuffle or something, sure. That’s different.

Now this is something workable though. The question is how aggressive it would be. Because getting into a BG with some of the same people is not particularly uncommon even without premades if you’re spamming queues.

If you go too aggressive (weeding out more premades), you’re just hurting the queue for everyone and to the average player it’s not going to be more of a benefit than it is an annoyance.

If you go too soft with it, queues are impacted less but you might also just start missing premades (especially if it’s not a full 10+ stack).

Does it start looking immediately? Or does it let a round or two slide before it cares?

And even if you go soft, how much of a mess does that make of queues - splitting the line into x number of different lines as they approach “queue popped” because we’re now effectively doing a WoW version of that petty seating chart type word problem but on a massive scale.

Easy, have a queue for solo and another one for groups. Elder Scrolls Online does it and it works great. I don’t understand why people think this is an unsolvable problem when other games do it.
