Why are premades allowed?

It was in wintergrasp. Everyone within range was nuked from orbit by what i can only assume must have been a protoss armada.

First you gotta ask blizz why they don’t match premades vs. premades.

Also, no, “every game” is not pug vs. premade. lol
People who say that have zero idea what they’re talking about. Every loss for them is “because we pug vs. them premade.” lol

Because friends and guilds like to play together. Shocker, I know.

Riddle me this, Batman; Does blizz allow raid groups to queue into BG’s? Yes or no?

lmao

People still have a reasonable expectation to having fair games in unrated. And having premade groups fight pugs creates an incredibly toxic environment for anyone who isn’t also forming premade groups. And it gets real bad in epic BG’s where you have people straight up cheating and Blizzard doesn’t care because they almost never get involved in PVP.

No one actually likes bg’s where they can’t win. We know this because Wintergrasp heavily favors defense to the point that you have massively better odds of getting placed on assault. Because people queue, get in, see they’re on assault and immediately quit because they don’t want to have the next half hour of their life wasted.

No way to gear without PVP’ing. It’s on Blizzard for not providing at least a base line for PVP gear.

Great. So why do they insist on having their premade fight a pug? I know people love trotting out the, “WE JUST WANNA HAVE FUN MAAAAN!” argument like it’s a defense against seeking out deliberately unfair games in their favor but it’s not the slam dunk you think it is.

Please consider the experience of other players. It’s unfair to your team if you’re significantly lower in item level compared to everyone else.

You can acquire PvP gear through crafting, purchasing from the auction house, or earning Bloody Tokens from world PvP.

Oh, it absolutely sucks.

Everyone understands that, but that doesn’t explain why they’re going up against a pug that doesn’t stand a chance. Wouldn’t it make sense to go up against other premades?

Of course, if Blizzard ever changed it to premades vs premades there would be a lot less premades since they wouldn’t get the easy win.

If they win how are they losers?!

Also what’s your evidence for insulting premades - is it based just on your frustrations of not being able to be them ?

It’s a game , a MMO, premades are often groups of friends wanting to play together. Or guilds. Matt you play together they communicate probably coordinate what they are doing .

Oh THE HORROR! let’s insult them as try hard losers for playing a game together and having fun!

The losers aren’t them my friend.

Make your own pre-made. Problem solved.

They’re try hard losers because they enjoy one sided games that are easy wins. It’s the same as a high level player killing a low level player in open world PvP. I get friends wanting to play together but they could do rated BGs. Playing with your friends shouldn’t result in diminishing other people’s enjoyment of the game.

But let’s not pretend like all premades are just friends wanting to play together. I would be willing to bet that most aren’t friends playing together based on the number of people I’ve seen recruiting for them.

Conversely let’s not pretend all premades ARE strangers just going for easy wins to aggravate folks like yourself.

Why not?

If they losers then why did they win?

Sounds like you projectin

How do you propose Blizzard stop the activity of…

Queueing at the same time as another group of people you know?

Like, seriously.

It’s a Discord call and “hey did your queue pop?” it’s not exactly a mechanical exploit that can be fixed.

Unless you mean you just want every form of unrated PvP to be solo queue so you don’t even get 5-mans. Which would be weird.

Premades have been a thing for 20 years OP.

It’s group content, we used to do it in AV as a Guild all the time.

It’s an easy win or a quick loss, either way not a bad deal.

You can also Merc if you feel left out of the winning team.

They can’t and that’s what the next complaint will be if the suggestion is implemented.

I don’t see Blizzard isolating friend/guild groups from playing with each other, filling in the blanks with solo players.

I guess they could make a solo unrated queue for players that just want to play with other players if there’s enough of a demand.

Math. It could also be fixed with elementary match making changes.

Thats like key pvp fun right there
