Podlings are creatures native to draenor before it was shattered, yeah? Completely unrelated to Azeroth.
But Podlings are found in the Emerald Dream, which is a reflection of Azeroth before the titans, correct?
So what are podlings doing in the Emerald Dream? Did they cross dimensional and cosmic boundaries to travel in time, dimensions, and planets (and alternate realms of said planets) to the Emerald Dream? What gives here?
Or is this just another example of blizzard not really knowing their own lore?

They’re also found in Valdrakken, and a quest explicitly calls them podlings.

Simple solution is to say they are nature spirits and so came from the plane of Life. Due to its extreme levels of Spirit energy, Nature Spirits had an easy time manifesting on Draenor. The Dream is just a chunk of the Plane of Life cordoned off as a Titanic garden, so there is no reason they could not be there too.

if we assume that, yeah it kinda would kinda make sense, but we don’t really know thats the case. Our workers from the garrison in WoD seemed baffled by the podlings, like theyve never seen anything like them before, so otherwise, it just kinda seems like they were a native species to draenor
