I’ve been doing mythic + runs on different alts out of boredom and 9 times out of 10 I’m the only one that ever travels to the meeting stone.
Even after the group is full people just sit in the city expecting a summon. Unless you’re finishing something up why not fly to the stone when you are invited?
What else are you all doing?

Only tanks and heals deserve a summon. The dps better hoof it.

Why do all forums posters make sweeping generalizations from their limited anecdotes?
Ps: I see the irony in my post.

Back in my day we walked uphill both ways in the pitch black darkness of night to the summoning stone and we couldn’t even use it to summon anyone .

Nothing better than asking who needs summons and getting four "1"s when in a 5 man group.

Wouldn’t it be great if they removed summoning, both the stone and Warlock spell, in Shadowlands?

Granted that I didn’t play bfa content for long, I did manage to do some mythics. I always run to the dungeon but this time I had some problems finding the stones. So I did wait on a couple of summons myself.
I don’t mind it. I always play with at least one friend, and I have the flying mount that allows me to carry someone, so only one person (me) has to get there instead of two. Then, we just get it done and start the dungeon/raid.

To be honest I’m not sure half the players even know where the dungeon entrances are located.

Well, if you know what zone they’re in, all you gotta do is press “M” and fly to the big blue circle on your map.

Maybe because they aren’t excited about running a dungeon yet again for another rng weekly cache of disappointment. Procrastination!
It got so bad that our raid leader stated “no summons” the locks get here every week so should you.
When i join a group first thing i do is head to the instance.

I immediately travel to destination after getting invited.
Many players ask for summons after getting invited. Even in raids with no warlock.
Nothing worse than joining a quick heroic N’zoth pug and the group zones in while waiting for others to fill and nobody can summon since it only belongs to warlocks and they never seem to join pugs - Can’t zone back out so EVERYONE has to walk over.
Considering you are in a group with intent, simply adding a ‘click to enter dungeon’ button would be simple.
We dont have to run to the Battleground. A simple cd on the auto summon would be the counterpoint to the ease of movement.
Of course, that would ‘kill the community’.
Right.

Exactly. So I’m not hauling my butt anywhere now. Screw that. I’ll be lazy and people can kick me if they’re so dramatically petty. I don’t care.
But I’m not the norm. And OP is full of crap if they believe that poor generalization.

Twas called the Meeting Stone back then. Those were colder days, crossing frozen tundras and blistering deserts until we finally made it… To where? Who knows.
Hopefully there’s a blue post inside. Haven’t seen one since April 9th.
I wont summon them. Then I find out they dont have the fps unlocked. Then I realize how easy it is to unlock them. Then I wont summon. Lol.
If they dont know where it is then they can ask for directions.
