Why are people so vocal about dragon flying?

As much as I would love to sit here and tell you I have 2 warlocks at the same ilvl and io, i do not my friend. The forums swap your whole character over. Now ya know!

But now you got me thinking about gearing up another warlock alt because it does sound pretty cool.

Click on that characters armory. oh wait. it says 404.

You are so wrong its laughable. Ive never botted. Normal flying is 100% better for ME. I dont CARE if you prefer dragon riding, but maybe ill make a baseless claim about botting too.

DRAGON RIDING ALLOWS BOTTING!
There. Baseless claim.

If you want to be reported for ongoing harassment by avoiding ignores, go for it then. :man_shrugging:

Plus… why would you just pay money just to avoid somebody’s ignoring you. That’s actually hilarious.

And just for future reference, i’m putting the pets of yours up here so…

People bot in WoW, maybe not you, but it exists, and there is a non-zero amount of people complaining about dragon riding because they can no longer bot because of it.

Is it that hard for you to imagine some people don’t like dragonriding?

Am I saying that anywhere?

Then what’s your point?

I already said it

I thought I was pretty clear

Another false claim from the pro dragon riding cultists who want to do nothing but be selfish and ruin the game for others because they can’t stand playing with those who aren’t “perfect”.

Bots have been in dragon flight since the start and even though you never seen them they were always there just now they are able to figure out how to use dragon riding to bot.

Not everyone who doesn’t like dragon riding is a bot at least 99% are just players who don’t like it and they don’t need to give any reasons why and by calling them a bot is just outting yourself as someone who is selfish and doesn’t care about their fellow players.

So because you cannot prove that everyone isn’t botting, you can write off everyone who likes normal flying as a botter?

Anyways back to you before that whole convero was derailed with personal attacks, so since you apparently have a problem with answering my question or calling your comment out as implication, then you recognize there’s other changes in dragonflight, therefore making your “People hate changes” comment, pointless.

If that’s not correct, then tell me what you meant to say by “people hate changes” then. Because i’ve seen multiple people here to say this only in response to somebody disliking dragonriding.

Can’t be as vocal as the homeless lady living in my neighbors backyard shed and her dogs.

You can dislike dragon riding, I didn’t say you can’t anywhere

??? Do you have a source to this claim?

I never said that at all. I literally said “non-zero amount”, I quite literally never said everyone who hates dragon riding is a bot.

because for the first time in the a long time its the only expansion feature that isnt a grinding system so its really the only new to complain about, so i take that as a win

Honestly if you’re just going to pretend like I said things that I never said there’s no point in even responding to you or anyone else in this thread, bye

I didn’t. I swapped realms because of raiding mythic. I know that’s insane to think about. I wish it didn’t reset my forum character either, I’d rather have that orc. but ya ignore this one because my orc is in the 404 realm

Not sure exactly what your malfunction is.

I said people tend to hate change and Dragonflying being forced upon them is probably the reason why they are being vocal.

Of course, there are other changes made in Dragonflight that people are vocal about too.

But just because one thing bothers them doesn’t mean everything will.

So sorry my comment didn’t meet your standards, I guess.

There will always be a non zero amount, because blizz literally cant police every single player every second theyre logged in. It is what it is, and penalizing everyone over it is not the answer.

I’ve asked you a very series of simple questions. There’s no malfunction to it. It just seems like you don’t know how to answer that question.

Here’s the thing Walrus, Change for the sake of it isn’t always good.

Take for example, if you put in Torghast’s Efficient looter trait in place of the normal loot. Most people will like it and some won’t mind it. Some might think it breaks immersion (though they might be wrong since AoE looting does just that), and some might complain because it’s taking up space in their bags way too quickly. (Which is a valid enough complaint since not everybody are going to have a vendor mount/toy on them)

Not all changes are going to be 100% or 0% received, and you can’t blame it on “People disliking change”. Especially since it can be placed on literally anything and it does nothing but dismiss. Like if Mythic+ one day doesn’t have timers and you hate that? “oop, you dislike change”. You see how ridiculous that sounds?

Well typically, people like choices. And not having choices is most of the times, a detriment. Which is why i praise the talent trees in DF.

Okay, so we have establshed that you do know other changes exist then.

That wasn’t my point here. My point is why you think it’s the only change, or at the least, the only change worth mentioning here?..

Again, if one of the changes in the new expansion for example was untimed Mythic+, and you hate that, and i say to you “You just hate change”… would you not say the same thing to me? Because even i know this sort of logic of positioning it to be the only change worth mentioning is kind of silly.

I would have little problem with you just saying “These people don’t like Dragonriding”, because at the very least, it wouldn’t be wrong. Infact it would be actually correct, since that’s what’s happening.

What standards? I kept the questions relatively simple to answer. There are no standard to meet, other then … “here is why i’ve said this” or “here is what i meant” in this context.

But… Dive bombing is how you hit the node without flying past it
