It was good for what it is, a story for an RTS video game series. I didn’t really expect it to be anything better than that personally.
I personally think that after Wrath, when the Warcraft story ended, they had a hard time writing a new story meant for a MMO. It’s pretty hard to deliver a fully fleshed out story for a MMO, I honestly can’t really recall any other MMO that has done it better than WoW has, and like, it’s still not that great, so that is really saying something.
But I think they’ve managed to improve over the years and it’s only been getting better as time goes on. I feel less and less like I need to read all the quest text in an expansion to know what’s going on, the cut scenes and character dialog windows do a pretty good job now.
Because dark fantasy is a lot more fun than whatever this is… comic fantasy? cartoon fantasy? Friendship fantasy? I dunno. The story and writing right now… have a lot of work to do and that’s being generous.
Whether you like it or not, it’s your problem, it’s a GotY without the need for that Geogh, not because of the attractiveness, it was like Nier Automata, Spacemarine, or Red Dead Redemtion, I don’t need to say DA FAMILY as a certain disgusting boring expansion that gave us from Dragons to treating us like slaves like the owlpeople in Bastion.
There it is, laugh if you want, but last year those were the most playable games for many reasons.
Blizzard didn’t care about its people, it just wanted to cover up the sun with a finger, and that problem was its 2020 controversy. It has never been for the well-being of the community, on the contrary, it was a nuisance to cancel it from the roots that was not part of that controversy nor that it was made Afrasiabi.
The stories started to become more silly and childish around the same time NPCs who knew my character for years suddenly forgot he was a “he” and started to refer to him as “they”.
wow… WOW… !!! JESUS… What comparisons, God Lord, hey, if you didn’t know, you’d be good at making cheap soap operas, right?
All that’s missing is for you to compare me to the guy with the funny mustache like everyone else who agrees with these types of games that are full of testosterone and still have a female and normal audience.
Although I think BRD is super cool, my personal taste for zones is either the lush zones like Emerald Dream , or plains zones like OhN aran Plains.
Nagrand was great. Uh Stranglethorn vale.
I shy away from dark zones. I don’t like Azh Kahet ( however you spell it) or the Shadowmoon valley in WOD, for 2 examples, yet for some reason they keep sending us back in to the dark.
Everything you say is gibberish. It’s genuinely the first time on these forums that I’ve been at a loss for words, so congratulations on that lmao
I don’t have any issues with Stellar Blade as a game. It’s an aggressively okay game, but the narrative is nonsensical at best and downright incoherent at worst. Anyone who tries to foot it as a good narrative-driven experience has no idea what a good story is lol
