Why are people lying about clearing bosses in Scarlet Enclave?

Including people who brought up to twice the amount of players that the raid was tuned for. They shouldn’t be counted.

If mythic retail raiders were allowed to bring double the number of players to the same raid, they would clear the entire raid in 1 day.

But this raid was so overtuned even top 1% groups that brought 40 still haven’t cleared.

Maybe read the rest of that post. Not that you’ll actually acknowledge it, so

Absolutely they would. Last retail race Liquid had to do some wild strat that involved dropping a tank, using a Blood DK to solo tank just so they could get that last 5% damage in.

It was mechanically impossible to solo tank without burning all battle rez on the tank and if one of the other 19 players died, it was an instant reset.

They spent almost two days banging their heads against the wall until they executed the crazy strat. It required perfect play from everyone and if they could have brought a 21st man, any mythic boss would have been down in 1/4th the attempts.

Mythic bosses have razor thin margins and that’s why finding every percentage point of damage is so important, even if it means stacking 5 windwalker monks.

The problem with bringing more players in SoD comes down to needing to PUG 10-15 extra players. You might kill more bosses but that’s a ton less loot potentially going to your raid to progress.

This goes against all prior phases. p4-7 were all fairly well tuned for not needing to bring extra. The flexibility was there to give guilds the ability to have easier clears and not have to sit those extra few players.

I like how people think that “dad guilds” is some kind of insult.

Most WoW players are in their 30s and 40s now, and a lot of them are parents. I feel as if it’s better to be a WoW dad, then some man-child that’s 35, living in his parent’s guest room/basement, drinking gobs of Mountain Dew with filled up ashtrays and “we hope it’s apple juice” their filled up gallon jugs.

Are you not aware that warcraft logs requires logging the raid and opening them to the public?

There may be vastly more than nine guilds that have cleared who didnt log or kept their logs private.

vastly? doubtful lol

Kinda funny that we could’ve had a RWF of this… That’d be cool… but, kinda feels weird in classic.

Yeah, its crazy they didnt make it easy enough for most of the player base to clear it in one night.

What’s your definition of hard content then? It’s the first lockout. And a small percentage of guilds can beat it. Isn’t that what “hard” content should be? It’s not impossible and guilds are still beating it.

Anyone who is defending this is absolutely cooked. There shouldnt be a clear wall on the SECOND boss. Go do the god damn raid instead of defending something you havent even done.

Question, do you think release KJ in Tomb of Sargeras was reasonably designed? When the mythic guilds that killed it had to class stack rogues to deal with the mechanics by, not dealing with them. Cause I don’t think that fight falls under “hard” or “challenging”, it falls into “overtuned”. There’s a difference.

funny. Most of the player base only does six or fewer this week
