Anonymity allows you to understand how people truly feel when the mask they wear in public has been removed. Progress… I laugh at the thought.
alliance just say that b/c they don’t want to accept the fact that HE=BE. and the BE belong to the horde hence HE belong to the horde.
I mean, literally they aren’t though.
I’m against it because they aren’t adding Undead elf has a option on forsaken or even undead dwarf etc… but what is forsaken getting spikey hair and china loving no bones showing … screw changes if we aren’t getting forsaken options that aren’t loving and making out with china governments submitting to filter
But I mean they literally are. Look up blood elf on wow’s official site and it’ll say the HE renamed themselves to BE. That’s the only difference. Just accept it. HE=BE
They aren’t though.
Bet you would kick up a stink if you could make Nord looking Redguards in Elder Scrolls.
Also Alliance should get Silver Covenant High Elves with unique racials. Full stop.
The only people complaining are people who just like to complain. Just ignore it.
No, I wouldn’t
They are though. If you don’t know what you’re talking about then just stop talking.
I mean you can keep saying that but that won’t change the fact that the name in your character says “Blood elf” ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Blood Elves are High Elves. No amount of whining from GD is going to change that fact.
They only changed their name, not their genetics.
Therefore they are blood elves and high elves any longer.
Who cares what they are called? People want to play them with out faction restrictions
In most cultures when a man and woman get married the woman changed her surname to her new husband’s surname.
You’re basically saying that if Janice Thompson marries Larry Newton and changes her name to Janice Newton she’s no longer a member of the Thompson family and has no claim to them. Which is quite frankly stupid.
They are completely different situations LMAO.
You know what people refer to when they say high elves and they have their own race ID within the game files and their own references and actions in the story. Because for all intents and purposes that’s all it takes to make a new race in Warcraft. Are Draenei the same as Man’ari too? are blood elves still night elves?
Draenei are still Eredar. That’s their race. Draenei is the name they took for themselves.
Night Elves and Blood/High Elves are genetically different. They’ve grown apart physically over thousands of years. They’re not the same.
You keep getting hung up on names. Blood Elves are High Elves. My scenario is very much the same thing. It was a name change, not a species or genetic change.
It would he a weird flex but okay.
On the advice of one of the posters in this thread, I went and looked at the character customizations in more detail and came up with a second reason:
Homogenization of the races. Dwarves shouldn’t have blue hair and Draedei shouldn’t have blond hair. Allowing this takes away a part of each races’ individuality and uniqueness. It’s like being able to cover up Undead’s bones; now they’re just awkward ugly humans.
(And before anyone says, well you do what you want, my choices don’t affect you; yes, they do because this is a MMO so I see your character and those blond Draedei and ugly humans are going to be immersion breaking.)
(Short rant: And they STILL didn’t get my Dwarf’s flaxen freakin’ hair right! Pink roots? Do me a favor! Why could they manage this in 2013 but not seven years later with all sorts of new tech?!)
