Ah, yes. The NDA: non-decency agreement.
As a paladin, I take offense to this thread. I have never been mean and awful to anyone who did not deserve it. I feel for you. Of course, it could be that you’re on the wrong side…
Always the male blood elves…
on a sidenote, Paladins, and DHs are the worst people I have encountered in this game. (not joking)
Ran into my daggers… ran into my daggers 10 times.
It’s weird, but on my own Paladin another Paladin was giving me grief because I was sitting on the starter Charger pallys get and not the more advanced model. I had hit the wrong hot button and conjured up the wrong mount! The guy ragged on me for five minutes, even after I switched up to the advanced model, and then to the Headless Horseman’s mount. Just wouldn’t let up. So strange.
Kinda a broad brush you got there, OP
Because Paladins are good guys, so they attract people who are good guys in real life: Halo-wearing, pompous people always sniffing for anything evil they can stomp and be praised for it.
Not everyone who plays a Paladin wants to do this. But I would wager almost everyone who wants to act like this plays a Paladin.
It’s like people who play Vulpera. Not everyone who plays a Vulpera is a sick-o. But… almost everyone who is a sick-o, plays a Vulpera.
Preach, brother.
ALL TOGETHER!
THE LIGHT ISN’T RIGHT!
I’d say because of frustration, these players feel need play this class cause they are so bad at the game they need have 3 shields and instant heals cause when they try play say a warrior, monk…(people of culture) they can’t stay alive and do op damage. If anything feel sorry for these players and kill them with kindness next time you have a bad run in with a pally sometimes hunters can be this way as well.
The last bad group I was in, the Paladin was the only other voice of sanity. We chitchatted about the dimwit tank and his taking offense at the concept of " hey, maybe don’t pull a pack of mobs you could barely handle into a boss that has mechanics we can’t ignore"
Strangely, most of the issues I have are with Monks. The majority that I’ve come across personally have been pretty rude. Many of my closest friends I’ve made on this game have played Paladin. All wonderful people.
I will say the most chill are usually druid or hunters, in my experience.
Any spec that’s “flavor of the whatever” will always be the worst people more or less. Find a Paladin who didn’t roll it because they saw it was “OP”, they’re a good dude. People who reroll to what’s the best, are the worst of humanity.
It’s their holier-than-thou attitude. It’s literally the class fantasy.
“If you run into a jerk in the morning, you ran into a jerk. If you run into jerks all day, you’re the jerk.”
