Is there some kind of trick to farming the imperfect stones to create one? Because it seems crazy that green profession equipment would require such a rare item… been mining nonstop and I’m at like 4/10 of the fragements.
Ive noticed that im getting Null Herbs far far more often than im getting Null Stones as well. Its quite odd.
Delves treasure room can have them as well
theres a specialization in the tree which will help yield more … also think perception may play a role
Once you max an ore type on their three options, you no longer get broken null stones from them, every null stone is a full… I was able to max bismuth and that helps a lot, over time when we have enough points to get the other two we’ll probably have plenty.
How much sense does that make? WOW makes it so you have to be maxed so you can get an item that will help improve you, but you have to be maxed out to get that item, so it is actually useless by that point. That is the same as getting a tabard to imrove reputation but you can’t get it till your rep is maxed?? Do you think they are drinking or smoking?
I had pieces of them from the delves treasure room. Middles box of rocks can have a millstones in it
Worse than the rarity (which is bad) are the inconsistent requirements for null stones.
Basic profession tools (greens) for leatherworking require null stones, no other basic green profession tools require it. This is peak absurdity - an order of magnitude difference in materials cost between professions is reasonable?
Also whetstones (consumable melee weapon buff) require it, mana oils (consumable caster weapon buff) do not require it or anything similar.
Just more ways the profession system has been trashed in TWW.
Null stones and profane tinderbox requirments for crafts are causing a lot of issues. Things that should be cheap are far more expensive than they should be and will continue to be with how rare these things are.
