Why are new heirlooms faction locked?

Theres no difference between the horde and alliance versions, so why bother faction locking them? Or is this just one of those Activision decisions to increase player retention or whatever ridiculousness they’re into?

First thing’s first. Fix the heirlooms!

Then worry about the faction stuff regarding the new ones.

I’d much rather know why I’m being punished for having characters in both factions more so than some min/max nerd complaining his speed runs arent fast enough.

Last I checked, when I logged onto my Horde character, I could use the Horde equivalent without having to purchase it. You should probably login and take a look…

If that’s the case why dont I have a horde and alliance version of every single heirloom I own? A little consistency is always nice.

We’re still in Beta for Azeroth, I’m not surprised about anything anymore…

I just bought the Bolstering War horn on this toon, and it unlocked both versions, alliance and horde. My alliance lock can use the alliance version
