It’s not? Killing the opposite faction in wpvp gives no exp or gear. So you’re game is that a bunch of level 1’s corpse walk to each other and fight with starting weapons and skills?
To be honest, this this can happen to any server.
Take Stormrage and Area 52 on live. Both PvE servers, but Stormrage is 10:1 in favor of Alliance, while A52 is the total opposite.
They have to incentivize PVE to get people to play it. PVP is done for the shear pleasure of it.

To be fair, pleasure=/=core gameplay. PvE is the core game in Vanilla. Battlegrounds didn’t even exist at launch.

Right so where are the scores of people just rushing to pvp at level 1?
They soon appear as twinks in low level battlegrounds. The only incentive there is gameplay.
So BG’s are really the core of PvP in WoW not wpvp?

Exactly, we get horde vs alliance on pve servers. PvP servers are just for griefing.
I can do this too:
PVP servers are for wolves.
PVE servers are for sheep.
Just as valid as your view.

This sentiment seems to really get under the skin of PVE players. I can only assume they are sensitive to the view that they have taken the easy way.
Why? If you are so comfortable with your server choice, why do you care what others think? Are they correct? In your heart do you know they are right?

Classic is back to the roots of the game. The whole game revolved around the horde and alliance. No flying mount bs, no dalaran city porting, just good old fashion foot travel or flight paths. The best of world pvp

Why do people on pvp servers care if they are labeled as nothing but griefers?
But let’s go back to something you said earlier,
Wolves don’t prey on each other, they require sheep. That’s why pvp servers ultimately ended up so faction imbalanced and such a joke that we have war mode now.
I feel wow retail lost many PvP players due to changes over the last 3 expansions. PvE players have enjoyed it for the most part.
Therefore, vanilla would be a homecoming for PvP players. We had no where to go.

Just checked the top mythic progress in current game. 7 of the top 10 were on pvp realms.

There is hardly anything to do in classic despite what people are claiming. A PvP server adds something to actually do. Be aware of that if you plan on rolling pve. You will run out of things to do very quickly unless you enjoy fishing all day.
Except it doesn’t, there are very few people who want to be on the receiving end of greifing.
