Is it something to do with shadowmeld or some other NE racial? I was just reviewing a list and the top 7 are all NE and most of the top 50 are also. What’s the reason?
Their racial is op. It might get nerfed in 11.1 as the interview suggested. Shadowmeld can drop aggro, drink etc lol, so op.

that’s right nelf racial is pretty good fo m+, you can ignore a lot of mechanics by shadowmelting, mages and hunters can do the same
For example let’s say you’re doing Grimbatol, the lasts packs have one big add o two the very last pack, with a lot of small slimes, everytime one of those slimes dies gives you a debuff that makes you take more dmg, and the big guy does channel that deals a lot of dmg, if you haev both mechanics at the same time probably, theres a chance that you will die, but with nelf racial you can negate that and cancel the channeling

You can also perform In combat Res if done right and there isnt any aoe goin on which is pretty Op sometime
Shadowmeld is busted.
This is a literal thing… it often breaks mechanics which allows you to skip/prevent/ignore them. This season its less busted than it normally is but its still tops for healers.
