Making people walk back if they die etc. When I role a healer it’s because I want to heal and raise people. I see it all the time they’ll make some poor soul walk back and then yell at them if they get caught by a patrol when it could’ve been avoided if you’d of just raised them.I usually play stealth/invisibility classes or is a tank so usually non issue for me I just don’t get this attitude why waste everyone’s time just to be a snob. Does anyone else get to not do their jobs because they think someone else is playing badly?
You stood in the fire didn’t you?
No I had to watch a group fall apart because the warrior being made to run back got a patrol on him
So, one anecdotal experience means healers are jerks…hot take.
Which class is the invincibility class? I wanna try that one out.
I have a hard time believing that. I dont do high keys, but the ones I do everyone ALWAYS releases on their own if I don’t immediately cast res. Literally not even time for me to type “Run back and stop getting smoked by avoidable damage”
Paladins… holy daddies.
It happens all the time
To make an edible sandwich, you do need other ingredients outside of two peices of bias… er, I mean bread.
There is a whole lot to this story that is missing. And outside of that, this is just another “story.”
This is why instead of spending an hour to jump through hoops to avoid mobs, people should just clear the damn things.
Going to start recording everytime it happens and put it all together so I can show how often it happens and show that it’s not me standing in the fire . I know this topic was a mistake with you lot.
Depending on the level of difficulty sometimes it’s faster for the fallen person to release and run back while the healer tops off their mana. Most of the time (on trash) the dead person can release and run back before the entire pack dies.
There are some however who make people run back out of spite bc that person made little to no effort to avoid easily avoidable damage.
The only time I ever made anyone run is if they died while intentionally grabbing more adds without the tanks permission. (not accidentally, of course, we all mess up)
Even during World bosses I try to mass rez before I leave the shard. Does mean I’ll help the afk guy but does mean I help the try and failed/got unlucky people too
IDK, I heal so I never have this problem.
They always release before I’m out of combat to cast rez. Or they lay on the floor during chain pulls when I’m physically incapable of rezzing, until someone else finally prompts them to do it because the tank won’t stop and I have no chance to stop pressing buttons even long enough to tell them I can’t rez.
I would show you but you can’t see it.

This is why instead of spending an hour to jump through hoops to avoid mobs, people should just clear the damn things.
^^^ THIS ^^^
before all the rush rush rush in dungeons, all pats were cleared all bosses killed, even optional ones, main path to group was always cleared. not anymore tho. it’s rush thru, take short cuts, kill minimum mobs to get thru, too bad if u die and have to run back (btw being told, if u pull anything u are on your own) .
It always makes me want to role a healer because I feel bad these people just trying to enjoy the game and getting treated like that.I actually have a few times it’s the whole reason I have a an almost max level druid.
Don’t release before I res you then.
I’ve seen plenty of people laying dead even say REZ? and the healer will mount up or walk away or say something rude.
When just the one person died, and it wasn’t their fault, and they’d only died the one time?
I only see healers behave this way (on the rare occasion I tank/dps) when either you’ve died four dozen times to avoidable damage and they’re sick of picking you up, or you’re being rude and berating the heals when it’s undeserved, or it was a full wipe and everyone ran back except you because you were just, idk, too darn fancy to hoof it with the rest of us plebs.
Oh, right, or the thing someone brought up last time I saw one of these threads, which was: if I’m standing over your body casting rez, and you say “rez”, I’m fully within my rights to walk away because ffs bro I’m literally doin’ it, the spell only goes so fast okay?
Moral of the story: don’t be obnoxious to your healer.
