As others have mentioned, Marks of Honor are more rare now. Comp Stomp is gone, and if it returns there’s no telling if it will award Marks of Honor at all anymore. From my BG wins I only get 1 Mark of Honor, and the crates with extra marks also seem to be gone. Yes there are some WQs with Marks of Honor, yes if you do a lot of PVP you will eventually get a lot. But ultimately the rate is lower.
I believe older content (that is still available) shouldn’t be harder to unlock than when it was current. It seems out of place with the rest of the game.
Legion raid sets are faster to get now than when they were current. Why is it that a Legion PVP transmog set takes longer to unlock now than the same set would have taken in Legion when it was current?
Not only are they more rare but I use 4-5 Marks every BG. Then get 1 back? So I have used all 600 of them on 1 char then xfered some from an alt. Fortunately my sub running out and stopped playing. So my immediate problem with the currency is solved.
Right, and the boxes. wtf? there is almost no reward for doing just BGs. No potions, no feasts, or crappy blue gear to vendor. I dont even have anything to spend honor on.
I end buying a bunch of weapons and selling them a few hours later.
If there is something else i can spend honor on, please let me know.
You can equip the weapons to sell them immediately. You can also DE the gear and sell the mats, or upgrade it to get shards (currently 800 gold on my server).
Yes, the currency is a problem. These were my suggestions:
id like to once again point out at level 50 we get marks, boxes of fish/mats/herbs and sometimes blue gear to vendor. this is on a bfa capped account so im not sure if the rewards are the same if you sync into 50 bg’s.
you could theoretically make a trial toon and spam bgs for 3 hours until it locks then send all the potions, marks etc to your main. rinse and repeat.
Thank you for letting us know for information purposes. We get 1 per win at 60 as well, it’s just this is a greatly reduced rate than previously - but the rewards are just as expensive as they were at higher rates.
