Something about Legion, particularly Legion Dalaran, is particularly cursed when it comes to loading times. Some patches I feel like it either becomes better or worse but its always a little temperamental. I don’t know if its something about Dalaran being a Dalaran Two in a game file somewhere, or maybe its the way the Broken Isles is designed but its sometimes quite the load, maybe lacking some kind of optimisation.

That’s the worst one. Any time I have to go there I get up and get a drink or something. It takes forever to load
because there is thousands of ncps walking around aimlessly, same as Vald
you gotta remember how BIG the legion map is. it has to load all 4 levelling zones, suramar, dalaran in the sky, the broken shore, eye of azshara, legion assaults and like 6-7 class halls. Its quite the map to load into. definitely the biggest map we have.
especially if youre loading into dalaran first… During Legion, youd have to load and connect with thousands of players in Dalaran THEN load all that stuff.
