Why are Kultirans not popular?

I’m so excited to make my Kul’tiran but I have noticed it is nearly the least played race alongside Highmountain Tauren and even below diaper gnomes…

So what gives? Their racial seems fun; and they have great class options… I guess my only complaint is they didnt get any love in regards to POC hair color/face shape the base humans got.

If Kultirans could use the base human model do you think more people would play as “them”?

I can punch people in the balls with clamps for hands. Top that!

Nonsensically tall, overly thick humans with no reason to be like that is just weird.

KT should have been the Drust. They could’ve been a height that was shorter than Vrykul, but taller than humans to be a step in between. The Drust we recruited could’ve been the ones who sided with the KT in the war against Gorak Tul. That way, we could’ve had our Vrykul and it would’ve made sense.

But no. We just got these random huge human things.

funny that these augmentations are supposed to make you better when I feel like clamp hands would make doing anything as hard as possible. aside you know tapping people below the belt.

Likely transmog, specially for male ones

Because WoW has become a barbie dress up game and since Kul Tirans, much like Worgen, don’t transmog well with a lot of things, people don’t play them. I have one for prot tanking because they are by far the best Alliance side tanks we have, but I’m one of the very few who actually like Kul Tiran for their look. They remind me of Bruno from Popeye.

Well the skeletal pinkie racial remains anyway, so maybe the hand/clamp/arm has compartments of tools to make things easier. Would certainly explain why and how they have every profession tool built in.

TBH I feel like they should have given the skinny version as well.

I feel like the unlock to Kultirans is also absolutely insane… like I dont think ANY allied race I have unlocked has required this many perquisites jesus blizzard.

They are ugly AF.

Males can work for some bruiser identity. Females have a model so bad it’s just unplayable for the vast majority of people.

Absolutely.

Imagine when the orcs invaded Azeroth and found Stormfind thinking the humans were small and weak, then out of nowhere the Kul’tirans appeared doubling them in size lol.

ehh I plan to make a female Kultiran in a couple minutes when I unlock them.

Yeah I feel like if they had the base human model;skinny and thick model they would be more popular I am sure more people would want to be Human shamans and stuff.

They could have done so many other things and made so many better decisions pertaining to the AR’s in late legion and all throughout BFA .

It kind of was. Unless you main Alliance full time and really wanted them that badly. Having a requirement be a Heroic dungeon after all of that? I thought it was crazy. Horde didn’t have to do any dungeons. DI and KT both had dungeon requirements.

I love the female Kul Tiran model. Just wish they had more face options.

Yeah, they didn’t give the females enough muscle definition for them to have the bruiser look.

Giving them the ballerina dance just made it worse.

I’ve seen much more kultirans than mechagnomes but well, that is for this part of the world I guess.

it is crazy though cause so many Horde ARs you can unlock through generous questing… meanwhile Kultirans require like 3 dungeons and one of them being heroic dungeon; mechagnomes came out in 9.2 and you cant start doing their unlock till “45”

When I finally got around to leveling an Alliance toon to get the Two Sides achievement unlocking KT’s took less than a day. It’s a lot easier at the end of an xpac.

Mechagnomes too.

Alliance just got screwed in general for requirements. If it wasn’t that, it’s the end of expansion factions that needed those quests done and (previously) reputation required, which was the hardest to gain.
In the case of Mechagnomes, both of those things!

Oh right… I forgot trash gnomes had a dungeon requirement as well. LOL
