…that the dos gimping of hybrids is semi legitimate in the reincarnation of wow, however if we wish to perform multiple roles I.e tank and dos we are taxed again by onerous repec fees.
Purist zealot horde, and reasonable developers, ladies and gentlemen.
Lower our taxes to respec/rebuild so we may tank and heal your inflexible no change asses…
Unless you’re speaking about tanking or healing raids literally anything else can be tanked or healed in dps spec. High level stuff will of course require healing and yanking gear, but van be tanked in dps spec
As for farming gold, feel free to team up with a pure. I was always happy to have a healer come with me and keep me alive while farming.

Warriors respec in order to fulfill different roles.
Druids shouldn’t need to do that. They should be moderately decent at many roles no matter their spec.
That’s the main difference between Hybrid roles and Focus roles.

The only times my guild ever required a hybrid to respec for the guild they were compensated 125g for the trouble and even given DKP

I wouldnt be opposed to having dual spec in Classic but I preempt all the comments about how it wasn’t in Vanilla and how respeccing is a gold sink. True it is but if you want to respec regardless of your dual spec, it still costs monies!!
As a healer… HELL NO. Stop dps tanking at 40. 50 at best and we know most dps are not at their best when tanking.
