I have played both Horde and Alliance. Main Horde since legion. When i play my main in world pvp I get raged at and whispered constantly. I go to WORLD PVP QUEST AREA’S and fight. I never camp people its just FFA pvp and its fun. Horde constantly rage at me, but only on my hunter. When i block them they make level 1 alts just to rage whisper and insult me. I dont understand. Why go to optional pvp area and get so angry when you die? Im always solo i never party up so i dont get the anger and hate i receive. Am i alone in this experience?

No, but I can tell you from experience that it’s not only Horde who are toxic… Lots of toxic players on Alliance side too.
It just happens regardless of which faction you play sadly. But honestly, it’s hilarious to me seeing the rage whispers.

No one has ever whispered me after killing me in world pvp and outside of crates, everyone seems to leave each other alone unless you antagonize them.

Since none of us know anything about these social interactions beyond what you are telling us we can’t really help you. There is alot missing in these posts.
however bottom line is people are not required to be kind to you online. People will be toxic and if you think horde is the only faction guilty of it you are very wrong. It’s prob not the answer you want to hear but it’s the truth you need to hear. Find a guild and you will not have to worry about the other people in the game.

I don’t know why players are toxic but there are videos and analysis about this topic out there.
I do know it’s not limited to one faction.
I think it’s more about the kind of player you run into. I’m alliance and I’m incredibly toxic in wpvp. It’s one of the few joys I still get out of this game.

If ya turn off whispers, everyone around ya is always happy suddenly.
There is no toxicity.
And that is a nice thing.
(If ya keep it on, do report inappropriate chat, though. It catches up with the adult children eventually.)
Edit: Ohh and if ya blocked someone, and they specifically bypass the block to be a jerk, that can reported for harrassment. So, just a thought, if it gets bad. I suggest /w off, it works wonders.

Excellent point. I have not had many Mean Girls whisper me mean things in WoW PvP. But it probably happens. It certainly happens in other areas.
Ohh funny story, so I was driving today, earlier, merging onto a fast (60 MPH), single lane, no divide, kinda dangerous road (history of very bad wrecks). And this impatient driver was passing something like 5 cars at high speed, using the entire other lane (the lane I was merging into). Basically running at 60+ straight at oncoming traffic. So I quickly flashed at 'em so they’ve be aware and as they passed it was a grandma, must have been 70+ old lady, with a massive scowl givng me the bird, driving on the wrong side, passing other cars that were going a good amount over the speed limit.
I got a good laugh out of it, but holy moly was it bad driving, seriously lots of dead drivers on that road. And anger, crazy anger on that old lady.
So you ain’t wrong.

It’s everyone in PvP, and in fact the most toxic players I’ve met were all NE’s. I had one person with DF Legend playing an alt in RSS at 2k who wouldn’t stop talking about how bad I was because I accidentally charged out of his barrier.
My brother doesn’t talk to anyone generally but talks mad smack in PvP. He’s also Alliance.

I am still picturing the old lady with the middle finger and massive scowl. Very funny. Also, kinda sad. Also also, very very dangerous driving. Crazy anger.
Snowcrest, idk if you’ve noticed this, but male draenai with no hair, while they look cool in a cropped screenshot, in game their shoulder to head ratio…is off a bit. Massive shoulders, itty bitty brain case.
It’s like worgen shoulder armor sizes, but a bit worse.
