Why am I getting thrown into shadowlands heroics when im playing the war within. If I wanted the play the old stupid dungeons I would do so. I want to play new content, not your old boring dungeons again, this time in the new xpac, lazy Blizzard.

Yeah that’s what i’m wondering, So we no longer get to play the heroic dungeons that we were able to play a week ago because of seasonal rotation? Shouldn’t that be, you know, restricted to MYTHIC PLUS content? a little strange i’m getting weekly dungeon quests for dungeons not on heroic rotation for the rest of the year and i’m forced to play the normal version of that even though 5 days ago I could… ?

The holistic dungeon system is now following the seasonal dungeon model. Whatever is in rotation for M+, is now the same dungeons you have available for heroic and mythic.
Previously you had 4 dungeons that would be part of heroic and M0 but then weren’t part of Mythic+ and you’d have 4 other dungeons instead not part of heroic or m0 show up and be part of your M+ rotation.
Now everyone completes the same dungeons the entire season which is meant to give a more consistent experience and smoother transition from heroics on up through M+.

Seems weird at first because it’s different from how it’s been, but how it’s been didn’t make very much sense. If Heroic to Mythic and Mythic to Mythic+ is supposed to be the logical progression path for learning paths and mechanics then it doesn’t make any sense for there to be a disparity in what’s available between M0 and M+.
yeah i got that bug too, i level doing BC, but for some reason, i got sent to blackrock depths, i was like, nope /leave

how about Blizzard doesnt used the old dungeons in heroic or mythic, and instead focus on the new dungeons? Why do they keey recycling content? That “new” bear mount isnt even new, it was new with I was 14 YEARS ago! You are right, but I dont think the old ones should be allowed in current seasons.
because they have run out of ideas and the new dungeons are pretty useless tbh

Well when you consider an expansion has 4 seasons that each last about 6 months…
Running the same 8 dungeons for 4 seasons (2 years) would get pretty stale.
The current format is setup so that you don’t run the same dungeon in back to back seasons. While still allowing them to be used in 2 out of 4 seasons.
4 new, 4 old
4 new, 4 old
2 new, 6 old
8 new.

maybe they should roll out new dungeons with every season then. Its just lazy.
Go to the drop down tab in the LFG, you have season 1 selected and not War within.
