Netherwind is High pop, just like some of the servers that have free transfers opened to us.
We received a large number of transfers recently. Our faction balance is in danger, which puts the entire server’s health in jeopardy. Why have we heard nothing from Blizzard about this yet? We need to be locked just like Earthfury was.

Because nobody at Blizzard ordered a change.
This is fun, but that was too easy. Ask me a harder one!
Or if you have a suggestion or recommendation, don’t use reverse-reverse-reverse questions like “why didn’t Blizzard already do what I haven’t even suggested yet?” Use English. Make your suggestion, and give the reason why.
Blizzard is always saying they want feedback from players. Tell thjem, and tell them why.
Blizzard has been given the feedback in several threads saying that transfers should be shut off and why that is. No action has been taken, so I’d like to know why. Is no one watching the shop? Or does Blizzard disagree with the feedback they’ve been given?
Too many Alliance like the second coming of Incendius?
Where are they coming from?

I really don’t mind transfers but there are these issues:
- Faction balance: Gotta make sure each side stays even with large amounts of transfers.
- Economy: There are only so many nodes like black lotus in the game world and all of them get looted. But more people want to use them so demand outstrips supply and the price soars.
- Chat channels: More people means more spam and you often can’t even read Trade or LookingForGroup. If we had a better UI for making trades and finding groups this would be less of an issue.
- Competition for mobs: Need to kill something for a quest but the mob also drops some item used in raiding? Forget it, too many people on a server means they will be farming your quest mobs.
Blizzard can solve this in two ways:
- Better tools and more spawns
- Limit the size of the servers.
They really aren’t doing either very well.

It’s sad that the bean counters’ numbers seem to be the #1 priority. When given the choice between maximum profits and still-good-profits-but-an-enjoyable-experience-for-players, the $$$ seem to win out.
I thought they were all xfering to Netherwind because they were afraid of the horde on Incenidus not being able to contribute to the war effort to open the AQ gates right away.
Atleast thats what i was told by the better guilds on Incendius.
I think that’s why some transferred. Others are orbiters. They can’t find acceptance anywhere else, so they have to move as a giant pack.
i heard they did it to continue griefing en mass, it took 2 full weeks for ironforge.pro to update and show the horde have left, and NOW the alliance want to leave to another equally high population server because their favorite punching bags are all gone it was a horde exodus and the sweaty alliance NEED something to hit.
people did NOT escape the queue timer, thats evident because people are still hopping over in droves with no queue timer present.
horde fled, alliance chased after them.
