Yeah, that much is clear.
Is bro really trying to leverage the Statista graph again?
We already discussed this, little man. Or did you skim the conversation like you did the graph?

I would race change so fast if that happened. Just give Blizz my credit card at that point because all my characters are going skeleton
That I hit a sore spot? Look who’s mad now.
You mean where the graph shows undead middle in popularity at best?
O wait it’s still more information than you have shared.
???
I’m not a math guy, but I’m almost certain 5th/6th out of 22 is not “middle in popularity.”
In any case, it still doesn’t show that they aren’t a popular caster pick.
Because they have never been a good caster pick. They were a good pvp pick.
Anyone playing pve went troll
Okay.
But they’re still 5th/6th out of 22 on that graph, and the graph itself doesn’t parse what the dilution is.
So your claims of them being middling in popularity are categorically incorrect.
This was also before a lot of changes so their numbers probably went down.
They aren’t.
Honestly the whole ‘Shadowlands’ expansion’s mass proportions of retcons, changing origins and such - Ultimately ruined the magical feeling & awe-appeal of the Forsaken for me — Personally.
Not sure about others, but that’s mine.
Additionally, I’d love more human-undead features – Like the Nathanos treatment.
Okay, well, until you can provide me with evidence of this, your claims of undead not being a popular pick for caster classes is just as much of a vibe as mine is.
Thanks for the entertainment, nonetheless.
Still waiting for you to provide any evidence to back your claim.
Bro actually whipped out the “no u” argument.
The difference between you and I is that I never spoke in absolutes. I never spoke definitively on the matter. I don’t know if undead are or are not among the most popular picks for caster classes. It’s been my opinion that they are because undead are commonly listed as one of the few races fitting the mage and warlock class lore fantasy, but I can’t say for certain they’re frequently picked.
I’ve never held the illusion that what I feel about the matter was objectively true. That’s why I asked for your sources, which ended up being red herrings and provided nothing of value or insight to the conversation. If I had my own sources, I would have linked them with your first response and the conversation would have ended there.
The burden of proof isn’t on me. You’re the one who confidently stated no as if it was fact and then failed to show that, leading you into a spiral of attempting to deflect the issue back onto me and argue with me at every turn because you can’t cope with not having any evidence to back up your claim.
You still haven’t provided that data or evidence despite claiming as much, so my stance on the matter remains the same: You haven’t proven anything except your unwillingness to actually participate in a level-headed conversation and your inability to maintain some semblance of humility on the matter by not conceding the point you made.
I’m guessing it’s been a long time since anyone told you no, and it has festered into this illusion that you’re never wrong about anything. It’s okay. Happens to the best of us.
Maybe one day you’ll actually provide that source. I believe in you.
I dont wanna play a corpse. Not into that.
My main is an undead priest and they’re my most played race too, though most of the time I don’t even use the racials—I’m a pretty casual player these days lol
But I love forsaken, no matter what’s happened in lore over the years, they’re still my favorite race. Idk I just think they’re neat.
Undead models are difficult to mog well.
Kinda like Vulpera, most helmets for them just. Don’t. Work.
Honestly?
The new models for Undead leave a lot to be desired. Not sure what it is. I always much preferred the Classic models - tbh for every race, but Undead especially.
Like an above poster said, it was always the “pvp” race. Looks mattered ofc, but WotF was comparatively better back in the day. These days Night Elf, Human, and Orc are all typically a lot more useful overall for pvp.
And for pve I’m pretty sure they’re pretty bottom tier.
To me it’s all in the flavor. I love horror movies so this was a done deal. Being in Undercity and the whole Royal Apothecary thing made me gleeful.
Professor Putricide 2025. \m/
“THIS right here. The reason I rolled an Undead was I was deeply into Zombie Movies, and it just felt right.”
They are. Some people just refuse to see this though.
Yeah, the racials are an issue. They’re all situational, and even when they can be used they’re still pretty bad.
Then there’s the looks, and not having a city, and our leaders not having updated visuals, and the list goes on and on and on. Forsaken get almost no attention from Blizzard unless they’re being used as a prop for someone else to crap on.
I’d say the racials are the biggest issues
I can honestly say I don’t care about any of this myself. If undead had top tier racials I would swap in a heart beat
