Don’t give into the hype, Death Knights are one of the weakest and least important class.
You are aware that you can toggle DK voice manipulation off in the options right? Is this not common knowledge?
You can’t anymore without the aid of a mod.
Well… here’s a workaround
I’m so very surprised they got rid of the check-box.
Why?
Not everyone is cut out to be the “living” manifestation of death and destruction.
If it wasn’t for the rep bonus, this guy would be worgen.

The check box for DK voice is gone but the checkbox for reverb is still there.
I’m not in front of my computer right now or I could tell you what it was actually called. but there’s definitely still an option and it definitely still changes the way death nights talk.

If you find it I’m definitely interested. I logged in last night to see for myself and I couldn’t find any option for it.

They’re cringe because they’re just a bunch of Walmart brand Arthas’.
Their lore is kind of interesting, but I prefer the original death knights that Gul’dan made
Edge knights and edge hunters are designed to appeal to a very specific type of player. You’re just not that type of player.
I believe it’s the very last check box in the sound options.

Death knights are much more than just about death which I feel makes them way less cringe than a lightforged Draenei or a demon hunter. Their theme is just very strong in the game and it’s what we see mostly so I get what your saying, it’s like with rogues they are made to seem like all of their motives are the same but that wouldn’t be true really.
And there is actually an option to turn off death knights voice in settings too.
I love death knights cool lore and I love the feel of the class and look. Great alt or main to go along side another tank toon

As a noob leveling this paladin through Legion, I started exploring outside the class order hall in Eastern Plaguelands. “What’s that huge spiky thing floating way up in the air?” So I went up to take a look. “Oooh, it’s scary in here. At least no NPC’s are attacking me. But why are the other players staring at me? And why are they all death knights? … Uh oh.”
Thank all the gods there be it wasn’t a PvP server.
