Was this an oversight, was anything officially said about it? If I can freely switch between covenants and per the patch notes “retain all the items and transmogs from the previous covenant” as long as you’d hit renown 80.
So why are the covenant illusions (weapon enchants) character only rather than account wide if I’ve reached 80 renown? What really is the point to with holding them if I can wear the full garb / armor set of that covenant while I’m in another covenant?
No one has said anything about them and it’s dumb. They aren’t that much different than the base ones and there’s no reason they shouldn’t be account wide.
I’d imagine just an oversight at this point.
Some of the backpacks and “moth bulbs” you can get from the Night Fae still require NF rep, and some of them don’t. These kinds of inconsistencies are annoying.
I grinded each and every Renown to 80 to unlock everything… In Nov it was successful, however now I feel cheated 
Only ventyr matters in everything rest is garbage 
And it’s cool that the game systems will let you reflect that regardless of whatever covenant you’re currently saying sure to. The inconsistities are a bother and surely an oversight. Like omg im using the purple maldraxxus floaty thing instead of the green but im kyrian wht a world what a world
