I was wondering why Blizzard made certain classes/specs immortal in world pvp.
Here are a few examples:
It doesn’t matter what buttons they press or how bad they are, they are unkillable in world pvp because of their absurd amounts of passive selfhealing, why is that so?
Tanks are supposed to take damage
Healers can heal
DHS have super strong leech
Did you get Ganked or did you try to Gank someone and get beat up?
They both happen in WPVP and it’s part of the game. If you stick it out and keep trying it will get better as you get better.

It gets better with experience and time. I play a healer as well as a warlock and I can tell you from experience that being a healer, at least a druid healer, is rough in world pvp. I can stay alive almost indefinitely, but I also do not do enough dps to take down other players. Dps self heals simply out pace my dps as a healer. Now, my warlock is a bit different. Generally speaking, I can win enough 1v1 bouts to be satisfying. My self healing with pots, healthstone, passive leech, and class specific self heals keep me up and running pretty well. If there are more experienced world pvpers here then please correct me, but I’d say being successful in world pvp is about having high burst dps, better survivability (self heals and dmg mitigation) than your foe, and making good use of your interrupts and cooldowns.
Uh neither, it’s just something I’ve noticed in world pvp.
I’m afraid I’m mostly at the skill cap of the class I currently play, it’s not me.
How is you ilvl? Also, may I ask what class/spec you play?

Haha, nice! Doing better than me in the ilvl department. Unholy is a fun spec to play too! I have a dk as well, but I haven’t done as much pvp with him. It’s been my experience that unholy, for me at least, is a little slow to build up in pvp. I went blood spec and had some success, but frost seemed to do better 1v1 for me. Frost builds up burst damage very rapidly and high burst seems to be king in pvp at the moment. You don’t happen to play on WRA do you? We could spar if you like. I’m relatively new to the forums, so I don’t know how to look you up.
On your unholy dk? I win lots of fights 1vN as unholy and im ilvl 407 not sure what your doing wrong i can eat most healers with necros. Tanks are tricky for everyone tho. And demon hunters you just have to counter their cds

I don’t bother going after tanks or priests, DH depending on how good the player is aren’t bad but definitely not easy. With DH if I can blind their Meta they are a lot easier to deal with
but it’s not all tanks though. for example warrior prot has no healing I think when you say immortal tanks you’re mostly talking about blood dk, guardian, and prot pally?
Who cares about tanks and healers?
If DH is “unkillable” for you it means one of three things.
DH is strong, but not unkillable.
Uhhh, they’re not, but okay.
So you want to blame me for losing against DHs in 1v1 that are not even remotely close to my skill level? They press their 3 buttons and passively heal up to full again.
They are hard but if you save a CC for Meta, they are not too bad outside of it .
Yep stun them, slow and distance yourself while they are in meta…
Pretty much, i stun them and spam necros on them so they cant leech heal
