Void Elves require a ridiculous (which was lessened now) requirement. Blood Elves doesn’t.
Also, Void Elves compete with many “good looking races” in the Alliance. The Blood Elves have literally no competition in the general sense considering how bad gear look on most of the races.

There are 2 named high elf npcs in Theramore. There are 2 named gnome npcs. There are 6 named dwarves. There are 69 (lol) named humans. What are you even talking about?

The guards. They alternate between human and high elf at about a 50% split.
To be fair he said Theramore + Dustwallow.
Theramore and Theramore Isle are but one tiny part of Dustwallow marsh

Some utterly transparent “lore” yoyos are going to sweatily hustle in here hrum brumming about the BElf “story” and how it’s so compelling 
Just admit you like BElves for the same reason the Sports Illustrated bikini edition is popular. People are shallow and BElves are supermodel attractive, but with pointy ears.

This is unfortunately true. I think most gear is designed for Humans and just so happen to look great on the prettier and more normally proportioned Blood Elves.
Gear for other races I think need bespoke design in order to look decent - and to fit thematically.
I have been trying to find a decent looking transmog set for my UD Frost Mage to no valid. I have currently given up. My BE doesn’t even need to try, almost everything looks great.
Edit: And of course the Forsaken has no heritage armor. One of the races that IMHO needs it the most.
As if nelves didn’t have that reputation long after BC on alliance, having broadly better looking models than humans (who look almost as lumpy as orcs)

Personally I prefer Night Elves over Blood Elves but who are we kidding when we say Night Elves are better looking than Blood Elves for majority of the population?
The trend speaks for itself.
The trend where blood elves and night elves are consistently the two most played races, neck and neck with humans, and where blood elves peaked at something like 15% of the entire playerbase?
I think goblin women are more attractive frankly.
