Why are Blacksmithing plans for PvP armor so low drop rate?

I think I’m 20 - 1 bags of actual recipes?

I don’t know if it’s scripted but thank all the light that the first (and only) recipe I found off the bags was the Ingot itself.

Every other recipe I’ve gotten so far was bought off the Auction House.

But seriously, why so low?

It’s just rng, i’ve gotten around equal amounts of tailoring/lw/bs plans

Only seen two epics so far though, 1 cloth and 1 leather

Epics definitely really low, greens are every 5 or so bag for me

Let me tell you a tale that takes place in MoP. It’s about a young Buttercleave who spent many a nights using their daily crafting CD to try and get all the patterns for their leatherworking armors.

I never got my pants or boots.

I would rather burn my Honor on a vendor for the plans.

I despise PvP. I just want my first crafts.

I’d say buy the recipes off the AH, but that ship has sailed.

Was nice making 18k selling a chestplate for 20k that cost 2k to craft though with only a 50k investment into the recipe.

I also got lucky and got the Infurious Alloy recipe on my first BG box, but after failing to get any further recipes, just ended up buying the rest… and secured a tidy profit doing so.

they’re BoE arent they? so supply is slow but infinite and demand is high but finite.

My server is a graveyard because we STILL haven’t been merged.

I’m probably the only tailorer on the server, and that alt is barely level 20.
