because they have no idea what theyre doing, and havent for 20 years. just look at WC3 “balancing” patches, or when they changed the armor types in TFT.
blizzard just does things for the sake of doing them. the same idea of “looking busy” at work, when really you are accomplishing nothing.

When the game first came out we didn’t have 1.12 talents or Maraudon if they were trying to reflect the general release timeline of content they failed already.
I just want BGs to play. No rep, no honor, no PVP weapons yet, just the BGs. Let folks rank up via wPvP until P3, but at least give the rest of us WSG.
Phase 2 is patch 1.3 and 1.4 combined
Phase 3 is 1.5 and 1.6 combined
BGs came out in patch 1.5 now ask again and see if your question makes sense.

They finished converting Dire Maul and are releasing it.
Phase 2 consists of making sure the mechanics for world bosses work and (as I understand it) implementing an extra system on to PvP.
Think battlegrounds may not actually be finished yet in terms of conversion and testing?
Phase 2 is the world pvp phase, battlegrounds can wait.
Because that initial stage of honor system being out without bgs was a fun part of wow vanilla back then. It’s a stage we shouldn’t skip.
there were a lot of 60s there too, but only before bgs were released.
TM/SS was the unofficial bg before blizzard made them.
Honor system without bgs was imo the best period in classic wow. The world will be a brutal battle everywhere, and I cant wait.
BGs coming out will take a lot of that away, because anyone wanting honor has a streamlined way to get it. Why go looking for trouble when you can queue from toen and get 10 times the honor? Telling people to just go world pvp anyway is like saying “dont use lfr if you dont like it”
I just hope blizzard doesnt listen to the inevitible whining from people who should have rolled on pve servers. Releasing bgs too early will 100% ruin phase 2 and what it is supposed to be.
I’m not sure about best. It was definitely a fun time. Wouldn’t wanna skip it. I liked Silithus after it’s overhaul personally. So much blood the sands turned pink.
And fighting over all the Green Dragon World Bosses. Loved the Guild vs Guild that stuff spawned.
Bgs are the reason i play wow, not wpvp
