Or that most of the active/sweaty players rolling on alliance, which is why alliance was locked within hours of the servers opening in the middle of work hours on a week day for basically every PVP server.
I mean you canât really blame them. They make more money botting than they would at any job. When you got mouths to feed I donât really think they care about the integrity of a video game.
Itâs on Blizzard to do something and their preferred method is nothing because its free.
Hi, we play a game. Players from the regions I mentioned account for far more of the illicit activity. Those that do, are garbage. You can live in whatever sub-reality or overly-offended world you want. It does not change the truth of that statement.
Even undead is very good. Tirisfal Glades is superior to Durotar, then you can just hope on the zep and start the barrens at level 10 with everyone else.
Yeah in poor countries it can be more lucrative to farm gold for RMT and/or bot on WoW than work a ârealâ job. Theyâre just being economically rational in doing it. Itâs on blizzard to ban them to protect the integrity of the game, which theyâre failing at.
Which is why they simply give them their own playground to work in and spare the rest of us their clear disregard for very simple rules.
As long as the demand is there, there will be a supplier.
Buyers are just as much to blame as sellers, and if these sellers were moved to âtheir own playgroundâ, new US Based sellers would pop up as the demand would remain and the value would increase⌠Only answer is to ban more frequently, both buyers and sellers, and policing their game, to the point where there isnât profit to bot anymore.
I donât really think itâs the proximity of the capital that counts, but rather the proximity of the nearest flight point.
We are in agreement there. Gold buyers should be stripped of their account completely and forced to resub and their new accounts monitored. If it is not a nuclear punishment, people wonât respect it.
Thunderfury is a sword. Bonereaverâs Edge is a sword. Ashkandi is a sword. All three big boy weapons from KelâThuzad (two one-handers + one two-hander) are swords or mace.
Humans get sword/mace racials.
There is definitely an Alliance tilt at endgame. Even now, in BFD: the epic two-hander is a sword. Meanwhile, the two-hand axe is blue and it has spirit on it!
I still prefer Horde, though. My only 60 during the original run of the game was a Tauren Shaman so I have a soft spot for it!
Donât forget quel and maladath. Quel being the âfreeâ tanking sword that is bis MH for most of the endgame unless you get lucky with bindings. Maladath is the best OH in the game except KTZ weapons and allows them to hit the +8 breakpoint without edgemasters, which other races cannot really do.
Seems really unlikely that there will be no new weapons added after BFD.
In any case, the weapon skill disparity is something that could be fixed in 10 seconds if they wanted to fix it.
Iâm sure they will add more BIS swords to the level 40 content with limited axe or other weapon type itemization.
Quelâserrar and Maladath arenât particularly great. Horde gets comparable options.
The absolute best items in the game benefit from the Human racials, which was my point.
But yours are weird options since no-one uses 2h to dps on alliance, and weapon skill doesnât matter for pvp. People absolutely put quel on literally every new 60 war because itâs by far the best tanking MH for quite a while unless you get lucky. Maladath is absolutely the best OH in the game until hungering cold. Crul and doomâs edge arenât remotely as good as the human options. CTS/maladath is way better for dps, and quel/maladath is better for tanking on a human because youâre at +8, unless you get rank 14 weapons.
Well, currently in BFD, the only epic two-handed weapon is a sword⌠meanwhile the two-hand axe is blue and it has 13 spirit on it (useless stat for Warrior)
Same pattern as Classic. Theyâre clearly NOT worried about it. And frankly, I donât think itâs that big of a deal, either. I still prefer Horde, despite the quirks.
Just saying: that is why the tryhards are going Alliance.
I understand and believe your reasoning. My point is that I think those tryhards are going to be disappointed when weapon skill is balanced, because if nothing else, Blizzard seem very intent on maintaining faction balance in SoD.
Alliance gets windfury in SoD. They will absolutely use a two-hander.
Crul and doomâs edge arenât remotely as good as the human options.
Crul is actually higher item level than any other one-handed weapon prior to Naxx. BWL is where one-handed axes catch up.
Ashkandi is a sword thoughâŚ
Why evidence do you have to say that?
Again: the only epic two-hander is a sword. The axe has spirit. They are clearly not worried about it.
They are clearly not worried about it at level 25.
