Why are alliance switching to horde?

All my friends are leaving :frowning:

I’m still here, my dear. You and I can adventure together in Azeroth, just the two of us against the Horde. I like our odds.

Me and a bunch of people I know did the exact opposite.
I was in a guild with at least 200 people who changed from Horde.

I think the changes to the horde lately appealled to some people in the Alliance the same way they upset some people in Horde.

With the writers so politically motivated to kill off all the testosterone in the story, I might switch a couple of my Humans to Orcs in memory of Garrosh.

How come you guys moved? Just curious !

Because the active players base for raiding or high tier mythic+ is on the Horde side. So if that is the content you are interested in doing, you are far better off on the Horde side. And with more and more Alliance do it, things will only get worse on our side.

It’s simple more people for what ever reason do more pug groups in M+ and raids…

It’s night and day on my alliance toon at prime time to my horde toon on prime time with pug groups in LFG finder…

Horde side easily has 2 some time 3 times the amount in LFG

I myself and some of my friends were in an RP guild, and this ā€œabuseā€ Blizzard was doing to horde lore was not of our liking, so someone said ā€œlets go allianceā€, and we thought could be a good thing.

After we changed we met people who did the same for the same reason in a guild, and joined them.

What’s the abuse to Horde? That they made Slyv Evil? That they added furries? These are pretty much the only reasons I could think anyone would leave…

Making the horde out to be the baddies constantly that are afraid to move against Evil without the help of the Alliance, time and time again. Poor writing on basically most of the factions leaders that basically did nothing. A complete and utter ā€˜sad orc’ cinematic universe without really getting to see others in the spotlight. I know I’m really Tired of Orcs and Humans being the only ones often seen in cinematics.

Yeah. I am wondering about that as well. It’s not like the Alliance side of BFA has been award winning either. We are basically portrayed as the three stooges in most of the story arc.

Anyone who swaps to the horde is just as beta as those little scrap limbed gnomes. Don’t mind them, as their loss will not be remembered.

I dont think Sylvanas has been anything wrong (in the sense of writing). I do think people just cant accept a really realistic and coherent line of development. But I can see and understand why she is the way she is. And it comes from WC3. It is nothing ā€œnewā€. She was made to be what she is.
Furries ? I left Horde long before Vulpera.

The abuse is that the Horde became too much of a ā€œplot deviceā€ for the story of the alliance. A player character is compelled to be dishonest, disloyal, and do things that undermine Horde leadership, Horde cohesion and Horde own core ā€œreasons to beā€.

It is like the thing that makes the Horde, the Horde, only exist in a description somewhere, and it is never put in practice in the game lore.

I still uncertain as to what to think about Allied Gnomes, but if I were to see what people often say, it is not looking good.

I play both sides and have since I started way back in BC. /shrug

Right? I see no reason to favor one over the other. Seems kind of dumb if you’re paying for all the content then might as well play all the content.

Maybe Vulpera are more appealing than we thought.
