Why are all our leaders so.... Large?

If you take any of our leaders and stand a typical member of their race next to them, they always come up to like, shoulder level… Why is this? Is this a requirement to rule in World of Warcraft?

I feel like I’m in the Invader Zim Universe and our leaders are the Tallest.

The leaders are all Winterfall Firewater addicts, and that makes them larger.

I forgot where I heard or read about it, but I think Ion or another developer said they purposely make the prominent characters larger for identification purposes. Especially in raids etc lol.

The gnome king is too tall and gnomes are already too tall! Decrease gnome height!

From the Winterfall furbolgs in Winterspring, they are also addicts (I don’t know if they’re still in the game in DF lol)

And if one were to sprinkle some on a specific body part; say… A leg… Would it also increase in size like the leaders?

They’re actually reasonably sized in the little home base in Amirdrassil. I had hoped that would be a new trend, because I genuinely hate scampering around the ankles of of major lore characters.

They all suffer from gigantism for sure. I think it’s hilarious when Jaina supposedly is a regular human but when a female human player character stands next to her …whoa that looks weird.

The law of cool state that the more cool you are the more space you get on screen. I don’t make the rules it’s just what it is.
