I have both herbalism and mining and usually get knowledge points at a similar rate, but I’m not getting any from mining this week while still getting herbalism knowledge points at a similar rate. Anyone know what’s up with this?
Ya, something was majorly broken this weekend, i got the initial weekly kp, but after the 6 of those dropped for each gathering profession, i never got another kp in an hour of farming from either mining or herbalism. Catchup kp is a joke.
I worked on my miners this weekend and didn’t have any trouble getting my knowledge points. Perhaps bad RNG?
I don’t think so because I’m still getting herbalism knowledge points…we’re talking like I would normally probably have about ~30-40 points by now and I have 0…that’s how far from the norm this is.
I’d say file a bug report to be safe, but all of my miners (main and alts) haven’t had any trouble, so if it is affecting you, it is probably some weird bug. It could be affecting others too, so definitely report it.
I had this happen a few weeks ago too, but I didn’t do a ton of gathering so it’s not like I was 100% positive that there was something wrong like I am now. The following reset everything was fine and I was back to getting knowledge points. They aren’t particularly rare so it’s noticeable when they stop dropping. If I had to give a rough guess I’d say I normally get one every 8-10 herbs/mines…somewhere around there…
If you’re talking about catch-up knowledge then you have to do the weekly quest from the mining trainer before catch-up will appear.
