Respect to you for being objective here.
Not in this thread, please. Don’t devolve this thread.
I see, you are looking for a forum vacation.
Is that your excuse, you got screwed over in the past and now you’re going to get even by fixing new players to make sure they have no trinkets, because if somebody is a leveler trying to get gear to move up into the current expansion, they don’t deserve any trinkets.
Nope. There is no excuse for you trying to destroy the game by actively working to hurt other players.
Yeah but you can’t cry about insults after using insults yourself either way lol
As are you. Knock it off, please.
Sounds like they need to stop catering to the raiders and stop punishing outdoor/casual players.
Frankly, I really do not care. If the forums are littered with people like that individual it’d do me a favor. I’m fine with both of us going down in this inferno, the question is are they going to be fine with it when they can’t cry on the forums and expect sympathy because the game aggrieves them by. . . not giving them pixelated items as good as what other people can get for not doing the same activity to reward those things.
You’re coming with me if anything, just wanted to let you know.
Please, for the love of Christ read for once. Do I need to explain it simply? I do not care much for PvP. However to get that appearance I HAD to do pvp, so you know what I did? I went and pvp’d to earn that elite set. I didn’t kick and scream on the forums to get it given to me thinking it wasn’t fair. I did the adult thing and tightened my bootstraps and stepped foot into the arena for hours a day winning and losing but getting better until I got what I came for.
Consistency would be king here. Pick something for an expansion and stick to it. That way a casual can look and see “this will be a good expansion for us” or “I’m not saving up months of currency for this trash. I’ll replay Witcher 3 again for the 400th time” lol
People are just asking that the WQ rewards in ZM all scale the same…
Nobody is asking for raid or pvp gear handouts, just consistency among the already existing rewards for open world content.
That’s kind of always been WoW’s issue. They try to cast a very wide net and for a while they were capable of servicing every niche group of player and keeping them happy. Then as the years went on their output shrank but those groups still existed. Naturally their focus went to the two breadwinner groups, raiding has always been popular, but WoW has ALWAYS been the casual focused MMO since its release. People who tell you Classic was hardcore are either dumb, or saying that exclusively compared to today which is a point made by comparison to now, sure. However when WoW released it was THE casual MMO and that’s why it grew so fast.
They managed to create a game that’s okay for everybody but really catered to nobody. Which is why I find it funny how casual players cry the game is catered to the elite, then the elite are ripping their hair out complaining things they view as catered to casuals are inconveniencing them in response.
You have two different groups both saying “The game isn’t catered to me, it’s catered to you, and because of that it’s ruining my experience.” Except rather than address that fact that neither group seems to be really happy, they’ll just keep screaming at each other.
Which they complain aren’t as good as things from the raid, ergo my statement that they want things to be made better which could cause an issue with these items potentially being on par if not better than raid things because of jank spec synergies with some procs as we have seen in the past. Read the thread please.
I did, I was participating in it before you and the other clod rampaged in here making a mess.
Thallia was asking for purple trinkets not raid trinkets. She literally said “at least it’s epic” to at least one person regarding a trinket earlier in the thread. Could be ocd about wanting gear to match (I didn’t ask. Just an assumption.)
4 posts of 115, lot of participating there and if you were reading the thread like you claim, very early it was already stated by Virus why this was the case and what did the thread devolve into for a handful of posts? People complaining about raiders having things and them not, or in some cases griping they can’t have nice things because it would inconvenience people who raid that would now need to do these forms of content they in all seriousness shouldn’t need to be doing at all.
Eijian was pretty on the mark when he brought up Legion and BFA, because what you’re experiencing now is a response to that. A bit kneejerk but that’s always Blizzard. It was a problem then, you’re seeing the fix, therefore you want to reintroduce the problem. . . It’s almost like you people just want to complain and keep causing issues to then complain about those issues.
Now THAT I can understand and agree with that they should just not make those items blue. However that is not going to alleviate the issue because people are going to want them with higher item levels and so on. Preach “Slippery Slope” all you want at me, but it ceased being a slippery slope when I’ve seen this EXACT DAMN THING happen on multiple occassions. For a fallacy, that slippery slope with regards to this community is remarkably on the mark, almost like a law of nature at this point.
However it doesn’t take a genius to understand a basic fact of life is that logic inevitably is always carried out to its logical extreme over time. Maybe not by the same individual, but by people who hold the same idea and want to push it forward.
We can obtain a cool 246 Trinket that procs a random 300 secondary stat.
Also a 242 from the same treasure sand piles + five? other rings.
Not the best ilvl, but epic ZM trinkets are available.
Vombata goes brrrttt!
The pop-up talking heads were the icing on the cake. I disliked a lot of Draenor but I hated most of what I experienced in Legion. Everyone said it was a return to pre-Draenor WoW; they lied.
I do now have the addon to remove the talking heads, some kind folks here helped guide my way to downloading it, but by that time it was too late to possibly salvage the experience and I have not been able to convince myself to give it another go with a new, different character and much, much, much lower expectations.
Ones that added a bit of immersion?
Pop-ups do not add immersion. They interrupt the experience, therefore destroying immersion. That, more than anything else (and I have a whole list), ruined the wonderful WoW adventure I had been having up to Draenor.

TBH Blizzard could always just make this an immersive way of getting that information rather than displaying it on the screen. XIV usually uses “linkpearls” for this which are basically like radios in the ear. Really was weird that Khadgar wasn’t just written to communicate telepathically or something.
Dude’s a mage, and apparently a really useless one.
I am equally frustrated by items that are given as quest rewards over and over, time after time. My Paladin has a 242 Cypher-Etched Band ring, and one of the rewards today is…you guessed it, exactly the same 242 Cypher-Etched Band ring.
I mean, the stats are EXACTLY the same. If they have to give the same item, could they at least give it with different stats in case I might, y’know, prefer an alternative???
Edit: But on top of that, the two daily quests from Farim give…wait for it…two exact copies of the same ring.
I mean SERIOUSLY BLIZZ!???
Two of the quests rewarded the same ring today.
Sadly the named Automa kept phasing out, so I could not complete it.
Was hoping for a socket at least, but why two of the exact same rings via blue ! quests?..
