This has to be addressed for the love of god why am I losing rating when someone else leaves my solo shuffle games. I’ll be down 2 games and up 1 and get negative rating cause someone left with 3 rounds left. It’s so incredibly frustrating losing rating this way and it’s happening constantly.
Because of the state of the lobby when they left.
Inversely you’ll gain a lot of points (mmr, anyways) if you win 2 with a healer and they leave. 
In the short term anything can ruin your day, though, yeah.
Also they tried making it so if somebody left then nobody got a cr/mmr adjustment and that obviously rendered the mode unplayable because people just left if they weren’t guaranteed to gain points and invalidated the lobby.
Do leavers still not lose mmr? Because I know I’ve lost mmr when someone left and it would be extra asinine if the leaver doesn’t but the others in the lobby do.
They lose mmr for the rounds they’ve lost. They don’t get some sort of additional mmr penalty for leaving.

Leavers get auto-docked 150 rating. The remaining players have their rating adjusted based on their win-loss at the time of person leaving.
Which is still a garbo system. Especially if the person who leaves is the person I was stuck with the 2 rounds I lost.

They do for the losses they’re present for, yeah.
I haven’t really seen a good alternative aside from maybe the leaver forcing the rest of the rounds to play out as if they had lost which is still gonna negatively impact people and make wintrading easier so 
In the end, as always, it’s “i lost rating blizz pls fix”.
Cause Blizzards entire ranking system sucks. I’ve lost MMR for going 5-1 in placement games because they don’t know how things should work and need to hire some people from companies with better PvP systems

thats bad when you can fight someone carrying the lobby x3 times and then someone leaves and you’re down 0-3 when itll end up 3-3.
No one should lose rating or MMR if someone leaves. It’s a no contest match. Leaver should lose 200 points and mmr.

thats the fun part, especially if the person left because someone was talking Smack…then that loss rating is deserved.
