Why am I killing blood elves? With Jaina?

I’m literally crying right now. What is this?? I wish I could have joined them and fought against Jaina. I hate her :sob:

Edit: This is not a pro-Sylvanas post! It’s an anti-Jaina one. I just want to kill that lady for doing the purge of Dalaran :triumph:

Because in horde story you’re a traitor that saves traitor.

I’m jelaous of alliance playere character, who don’t even exist in story and it just revolves around Jaina being goddess

I enjoy this game until i go online and realize it sucks.

If you’ve been enjoying the story at all in BfA, you’ve been defending bad writing.

It’s just now the bad writing is happening to you, so you think it’s a problem. When it was happening to others, you were fine with it.

Because the “choice” in the horde story is an illusion. You’ll fight against sylvanas and like it! You’ll kill horde soldiers with the aid of traitors and the alliance and like it!

God the horde story is a joke this expansion.

I would love to have the story you guys have. Me going in killing a traitorous king and all of his followers aka anduin? If they wrote a story like that for the alliance I would be all in. Be happy you guys are always the main vocal point of story’s, good or bad lol. You guys always got something interesting happening

You have no idea what youre talking about. Ive been complaining about the writing since Argus. I still enjoy the game until I log into the forums. Ive been unsubbed almost this entire expansion because im tired of sylvanas

Yeah…the writing is very…questionable.
Blood elves are selfish, they wouldn’t hurt their own especially if they are a DK blood elf. They died trying to save the blood elf people, why would they kill them due to the Horde’s internal political struggle?

Let alone Jaina was in the wrong for what she did but we’re bailing her out of it for some reason

Though I haven’t done the quests yet, this is starting to bring me back to the Horde. Because I am so tired of working for the Lich Queen, someone who has basically butchered the Horde, and to finally see a return of survivors for the sake of survival, not of conquering. The entire reason Warcraft III was attractive to me was because normally bad races were morally grey. Garrosh but especially Sylvanas has taken that and twisted the Horde into “monstrous races being evil because we’re bad”.

When the Warchief becomes a problem, the Warchief is dealt with. Our current one has caused far more harm than good, and it’s turning the Horde into something the Horde itself fought against all those expansions ago. It’s about time we deal with the sickness that’s consuming it and refocus its ideals on survival for survival.

Vol’jin’s revolution was inspiring, but this latest cutscene finally sparked a bit of my old Horde love.

Guy, that’s the bad writing in full swing. It was a whole expansion of “gotcha!”

The problem is everyone can and has seen through the entire intent of the story. The story is soooooo baddddddd. Warcraft story has never been particularly amazing, always teeters on mediocre/good. Never quite bad, never quite great. But good enough. This last year has been a severe low. It reminds me of a seriously badly written fantasy novel aimed at pre-teens. Anyone with an inkling of intellect can smell the bad writing after a few minutes. If I weren’t so invested in the game from so many years? If this were a new game just coming out? Everyone would have thrown this game into the lake to drown already.

Oh I hate the writing. I’ve hated this story for so long. I’ve complained all expansion. The first time there’s some hope is the Thrall and Jaina interaction, because they were the big names back in Warcraft III.

Sylvanas was done dirty, but I hate her just as much as I hate the writers thinking their story is good. She used to be an interesting character before Cataclysm, but starting in Stormheim to now, she’s been horrific for the Horde to the point we aren’t the same as even Garrosh’s Horde, and especially not like the old Horde from Classic to Wrath. Sylvanas has done so much damage to the Horde it might never actually recover, and it’s not even over yet.

Agreed. My appreciation for Arthas surpasses my love for BEs, but the intro zone need(ed/s) a total rework. There’s too much insubordination going on before the moment Arthas loses control over “us.”
