Why am I getting these trash MOP bg's EVERY time I queue RBG

Is there like a large group of people trolling? Help me understand. What happened to the original battlegrounds?
Since DF release the ONLY bg’s that are popping when I queue for random bg’s are MOP ones like Temple of Kotmogu. AWFUL.
Why does this keep happening?

Actually been noticing the same thing. To make matters worse they’re probably the bottom 2 random BGs right now
Kotmogu is awful because well… obvious reasons
And Deepwind, nobody ever sits bases so most games are long and drawn out with each base changing hand 983494 times until one team finally squeaks out a win

Im convinced there’s more to it. Like horde is premade queueing for it to troll.

I’m also wondering if someone is specific queueing temple atm

Yesterday like 6 or 7 of my 10 bgs were temple and i got really angry. Was a super trash night with zero wsg/tp

I also queued one brawl and got temple there too :rage:

Temple isn’t so bad it’s just people don’t seem to understand that you pick up the orbs and kill the enemy players with orbs. Sure, there’s more but that seems where most people are stuck in their understanding failure. Eventually, I get frustrated that the dps won’t pick up orbs and start carrying them.

Doesn’t matter if the other team is better, we’ve pulled out victories against better teams. Doesn’t matter that we have no chance to win at all, if we don’t make them respect us they’ll farm us. So get out there and pick up the orbs, go to the rallying point, and kill players that have red tags and an orb icon.

Two theories here.
Playing in brackets which do not have a stable population (at times) Seething Shore would be the BG that pops 90% of the time. Starts short on both sides and usually ends early with timer due to player #s not attending.
It is quite possible that TOK is set up in a similar way.

  1. Either the population on these off prime time (est/pst) off hours is not sufficient for the system to use other BGs (TOK pops). You will rarely if ever see AB start short in this manner, as an example.
  2. The system is bugged and does not register actual populations in que, so TOK pops.

I think people are just looking for a strategic advantage in choosing the less popular BGs which seem to disorient some. In the same way HK teams specific queue to BGs where they can GY camp.

I think blizz has a weighted algorithm for what bg is popping. Today is tok, tomorrow will be something else, earlier this week it was silvershard mines and eots.

idk, 5am weekend bgs felt the same as week day 5am bgs :joy:

well no, i take that back. one of the games was the sweatiest i’ve seen this year so i’ll attribute that to saturday night

Temple is best bg though along with silvershard mines

Any time I load into Temple I just insta quit and queue up on an alt

Not worth the time to not have fun, and this expansion being so alt-friendly means you can just skip it

I queued epic bgs and got Ashran 9 times in a row. I was about to jump out the window for real…
