Because tank is not a valid role in PVP. That’s why taunt doesn’t work.

im inclined to think you just havent played much in shadow lands? I mean it used to be the way youre saying… a long time ago…
as for taunt not working? Huh? Opressor PVP talent for warriors makes taunt increase your targets damage taken, it used to be extremely powerful before the nerf.

Prot warrior fantasy is dead. No more armor clad shield wielding unkillable juggernaut.
You know when you let the air out of a baloon and its zips around and flops limply on the ground at your feet? Thats basically prot warrior in its current state. Sad and pathetic.

It is really quite sad my dude, and I feel pretty helpless that the class i have spent years loving and playing is in such a terrible state.

How do I not get one shot/do more damage?
You stack the stat that makes you take less damage and makes you do more damage.
That is the answer. Standing there with your fingers in your ears “LALALALA I HAVE A SHIELD.” doesn’t change the answer.

There’s a part of the code in the game that runs a class check. Just so happens that your class is disliked by development. Enjoy.

Mes got a 100k in a BG with Final Verdict. Yes he was berserking and saltwater potion but still…it is possible.
The M4 Sherman was actually one of the crappiest tanks of its time. The only advantage it had was that it was being mass produced.

Oh, so this isn’t about the last boss in DoS, okay then.
Last time prot was viable or strong in pvp to go up against anyone was in WOTLK when they had armor pen and block value. Plus pallies are strong right now, just gotta run away when they pop cds.
