I understand there’s an “event”, but why am I auto getting flagged for PVP in Stormwind. Someone told me to leave SW if I didn’t want to participate. I tried, but because I was auto flagged for PVP in SW, I was still flagged with a 5 minute timer outside of SW, and guess what, now I’m getting camped by Horde outside of SW gates, on a PVE server.

I currently don’t have any flightpaths to go anywhere else. I’m leveling in these zones. And I don’t see why Horde should be able to attack me because of a “Zombie Event”.

Because zombies cant attack you if your in PVE so they purposefully put you in PVP so the zombies can attack you. Its dumb and needs to be removed and 100% opt-in.

These idiots at blizzard cant get out of their own way. What a terrible pre-patch off a terrible expansion, sad.
Those of us on PvE servers are there for a reason, if they want to disrespect us that much, I guess the sub is not worth it to them.

There is no such thing as a “pve” server anymore if you dont want to do the zombie event just toggle off and wait 5 min I dont see what the problem is.

To get PVP tagged and camped again by 50+ zombie players? This is a nightmare. Worst prepatch by far -10/10. There should always be a choice when it comes to PVP.

Sure, but it doesn’t toggle off, after 5 minutes the timer just starts again if you’re in SW. I tried leaving SW and was immediately ganked by Horde because I was flagged in SW. This flag should turn off as soon as you leave SW. I didn’t click it.

First of all there is no such thing as a PvE server anymore. All servers (except RP) are exactly the same as every other server. It’s been that way for a while. War Mode was the change when all that went down.
I did not like being flagged. I did however take great joy in taking down a well geared player in the Deep Run Tram when I was a Zombie and he attacked me.
I left him laying on the tracks.

Wouldn’t mind if using Chromie Time would remove it. Doesn’t make sense for the Scourge to be invading our capital cities in any timeline besides WotLK and Shadowlands.
That way players who are trying to quest in those zones like Elwynn Forest can do it without getting merked by players and the Scourge.

You don’t speak for me, I have been playing on a PvE server since I started to play this game years ago, I am enjoying the zombie part of the event quite a freaking lot.

i literally camped out 3 in game pandemics before the first scourge event for Wrath. i don’t mind camping out the second scourge event. a week or two of lost gametime is barely noticed.

Not sure if it’s bugged, but soon as you enter Org/SW you’re automatically flagged for pvp.
For those who are super upset:
It’s only a one week event… if you NEED to pass through because you’re leveling, and you get ganked when you leave the city, just wait out the 5 minute timer and move on. For 7 days you can easily avoid ONE city for your faction.
Although, after the last scourge event, I’m surprised they don’t offer you a breadcrumb quest leading to an NPC where you can opt out of it if you don’t want to participate. I would’ve thought they’d remember the forum outcries from last time and realize that not everyone wants to be forced into an event, even just for a few days.

It costs 10k and not everyone has purchased it.
And to make matters worse.
Chromie time is in SW. And no, she’s not in a convenient place either. All the way at the dead back of the city. It takes forever to get there on new characters. And finishing exiles reach puts you right in SW too.
Again. I don’t mind the zombies. It’s the forced flagged for PVP
