Seems like every arena game I do, I get called “trash” for one reason or another. It’s usually by a DH or Rogue, ironically. I usually end up just turning off chat or leaving the match tbh. RSS is the most toxic thing they could have added. Idk the point of this post but I’m not trash so stop calling me (and other players) that

Happens to everyone. Nasrajin is a R1 Boomy that has posted here about low rated teams blaming him for losses/booting him from group. Not that I’m anywhere near that good but I always get attacked in Blitz/Shuffle chat and blamed for losses when I did nothing to call attention to myself or out of the ordinary. Honestly seems like the quieter you are the more likely you are to be blamed for something lol. I have been turning chat off as well because it’s just not worth the headache these days. If you respond they either pre-ignored you, will report you, or just won’t listen to reason. Better to just roll the windows up and play the game in peace.

I’ve been called trash so many times lol, I just try not to take it seriously. You have to remember that the people at your rating, unless they have very few games played, are at the rating they belong. They just can’t handle the fact they made mistakes, so they blame losses on everyone else.

I have a fragile ego from childhood trauma so it’s really upsetting to constantly hear this tho

‘trash’ is at least generic, the real sweaters will look you up and analyze your gameplay and give you personal, tailored criticism. they may even use this thread

The way I see it, you have three options: turn off chat, keep chat on and try to prevent it from getting to you, or stop playing arena. If you can’t not take chat personally, I would recommend turning off chat. I do think it’s healthy to overcome the negative comments, but I understand that might not work for you.
