Go play level 49 bgs and you’ll quickly see where the hatred for twinks comes from. Sul’Thraze doesn’t take long to get but dying instantly to sulthraze proc+auto+bloodthrist/crusader strike+trinket+Rivendare proc is, quite honestly, bs. I made a twink and played with it for a bit before retiring it but I had A LOT of games where I would end up 20-0 or better. It’s just not fun to play against and, imo, not very fun to play either.
Sul’thraze was hit with about an 80% nerf. It’s ok but I don’t think it’s strictly better than princess mace, which hits a lot harder. Sul’thraze was procing for about 900 damage on my 69. Now it does 150 damage post nerf. The passive versatility on it is the only thing keeping in consideration.
I think everyone agrees that ramsteins is overdue for a big nerf. It’s a completely broken trinket cooldown. This should have been nerfed when Sul’thraze was. Ramstein crits literally take 50% off most peoples health and it’s aoe! A group of twinks can just run into a swarm of enemies and instantly kill them every 3 minutes. Please nerf.
I don’t know what you mean by “rivendare proc”. I thought you were referring to his sword but that only gives 10% movement speed and a small health regen.
Good thing Sul’thraze proc was nerfed in 8.1.
Fury warrior is still very strong at 120, and below.
The awareness from Blizzard is indeed intact for item tuning within the lower brackets.
“Ramstein noobtube” is next on the chopping block.
As someone who has known twinking since 2006, there were many methods to bypass the xp off system and q with levelers. Most complains were either that or twinks crying for Qs not popping up.
Imagine thinking that twinking 12 years ago has any relevance on twinking today.
Wow in 2006 is a very very different game that the one we are playing today, in pretty much every aspect, including twinks. You are just making yourself look silly when you try to use twinking from that far back as evidence that you know what you’re talking about.
“Twinking since 2006” does not mean that I only twinked in 2006. I have experienced pretty much all and every variation of wow twinking since the beginning, from carefully plan routes to not go over level - to leg enchants - to heirlooms -to ilvl because of templates - to this.
Having said that don’t try to derail the point with petty arguments, the fact about twinking remains and is that twink premades in randoms is a no-no and detrimental to the game in general.
PVP is and advertised way of leveling and a very good one when you are winning, in fact nothing beats BG leveling when you win.
For a leveler is a waste of time to stop and get BIS gear. With how fast you run though levels now you would get what, 2 hours of joy out of all that work? No thanks.
Randoms are made for levelers. If you want to show how good/powerful you are go do some skirmishes or face other twink premades. The game offers options for everyone as long as your intentions are true to your needs.
Twink arguments are only themselves.
BIS is not for randoms, is for the other competitive pvp options available.
Well for one, no, at low level there isn’t “other competitive pvp options available”… rated PvP is only at 120, if it was a thing low level I’m sure many twinks, myself included, would participate in it.
By this logic that “BiS is not for randoms” then you must have a problem with BiS people at 120 queing for randoms too. So the raider in full BiS raid gear quing up randos is “detrimental to the game”? If a glad player in full 385 glad gear feels like doing some random bgs he’s not allowed to que up for them, because BiS isn’t for randoms?
Do you see how ridiculous that concept is?
Randoms are made for levelers.
I have a feeling this won’t be the first time I ask you this, do you have any evidence that’s true?
Because I’m pretty sure that random bgs are made for people who want to que up for random bgs…
The game offers options for everyone as long as your intentions are true to your needs.
LOL dafuq does this even mean… intentions true to your needs? My intention is to que up for some PvP and kill other players. Pretty simple really.
Just one question: it is possible to get bis without stopping XP? in other words stop leveling?
This is why you will get you separate Q back, don’t worry.
Oh and at lvl cap EVERYONE stops leveling… looks like a brand new concept for you.
and at leveling cap people can still destroy you in seconds /shrug
As much as you try to make it sound like is equivalent, is not. 120 is much more balanced that any twink bracket.
it is no different at all

Oh but it is. Even my 10 yo son can do good at 120, yet he hates leveling brackets.
Class imbalances shine the most while leveling, everyone knows that. Add to that toons with BIS and is a sure recipe for disaster.
I’ve never seen an entire group get deleted 1.5 mins in to the BG at 120. I have seen it happen several times just in the 60’s and 70’s.
you must not do a lot of bgs at 120 then because it happens a lot in the bgs I am in XD
right rofl
well looks like you are either very bad or very unlucky then.
And hunters do good in every bracket. May want to level that one up and see how it goes.
Already have 1 I left this toon 100 because the friend I made it with passed away. Also never said it happened to me
So many assumptions lol I too have experienced one team wiping the other within the first minute in 120 bgs. Both done it to the other team and had it done to my team, it even happens in rated BGs sometimes, granted not as often.
Trying to pretend like one shots, team wipes, graveyard camps, etc… doesn’t all happen at end game too is ridiculous. Trying to argue as such is naiive at best, and just makes one look disingenuous.
PS- sorry for your loss, that’s a cool tribute to him/her
As someone who I think loves pvp should know, when you let a 4 sec cast go off like that you sure deserve to be dead.
That’s the pyroblast truth since 2004.
This is why there are only 3 fire mages in the top 100 and 20 in the top 1000.
