Not sure why there’s scores of post about “ban addons”. Just speaking personally. I only use details and raider. io for the most part and have had no issue hitting 2k+ in pvp, raiding normal/heroic, or doing m+ ( when added to game ) runs since Cata - Shadowlands. What’s the deal with wanting them banned?
(I changed streams of post to scores of post. I meant steams in the general way, as in many post, not like twitch for context)

It’s probably streamer related.
Because people want the game to be harder for others for no other reason than that the thought others can’t do what they do (maybe 
) without them. It makes them feel superior.
I’d say it’s almost guaranteed to be streamer related.
I believe it’s an overall crusade by the super causals trying to completely dumb down the entire game. If you notice there are people attacking raiders, mythic+ runners, the game’s systems, gearing systems, and now the addons. They want everything super simple, easy to acquire, and complete activities very quickly.
I dare ya to search YouTube for it…a few different ways even. 
I wouldn’t call them casuals, even super casuals, I would call them bads.
My SO says if he were any more casual he would be playing the game in reverse… and he doesn’t worry about what other people are doing.
If they are better gamers they are superior. Duh.

Addons shouldnt be in pvp. Pve who cares

Look. Hardcore or Casual, most would agree that alot of the system are in fact bad. So that one I am gunna have to give a pass.
Yeah, I mean he will joke with me sometimes like “you weirdo Mythic players” while waving his hands at me… but that’s all for fun

they make things easier and simpler, if anything asking for addons to be banned means they want the gamer to be harder lol
