If only the game wasn’t so addictive so they actually had to put effort in to retain the players and push out a half decent product.

The game can be addicting and still be good.
The problem is Blizzard isn’t good with this sort of thing. But it’s also been like this for years. And people either don’t let it bother them or they do but keep playing anyways.
I should have given you the benefit of the doubt. You have 8 forum posts so you might be new here. Blizzard has been this way for years and most of the players that are still here have accepted that and still stay subscribed.
I agree, they don’t care in the slightest for the integrity of classic. It’s a shame, they’re just resting on the shoulders of the past Devs who created a good game and exploiting it for money.

Wouldn’t say its Addictive, at least not like it was a decade ago. That’s why the modern design is built around shilling out tokens. WoD ran the subs into the toilet so they changed models, its a whale economy now.

Indeed it is. They rely on a smaller number of subs, so they milk those whales. Sadly, they probably make more profits now than when the game had 12 million subs. Micro-transactions dwarf sub profits.
As far as Classic…clearly they don’t care about the integrity of the game, the quality of the experience for the players. It’s an absolute joke what’s going on with bots. How is that acceptable? Because Blizz ran the numbers and the amount of players who quit over it aren’t more than the number of bots. By a long shot. Also, they don’t need to actually hire and pay GMs to police the game. So Classic is just a dumpster fire of bots, gold selling and gold buying. That’s the Classic playerbase. It’s just a raid log game anyway.
But there’s other options out there run by people who actually give a damn about the game and the players…

It’s weird how I’ve played tonnes of private servers and never once been scammed.
