Whose going for High Warlord?

I know I am, best part of classic was the PvP battlegrounds grind. That’s when PvP was fun. 2hour AV battles, granted no BG is fun when turtling but killing 100 people a battle sure is lol. I earned First Sarg I think in vanilla. Time to shoot for that warlord #nolife

I got Warlord on this character back in the day and it was barely possible while still keeping my job. I hope you don’t have one if you want 14

Good, luck, for real though.

I know right you’d think it’d be easier being in highschool. If I play all weekend I should be good. Can’t play during the week obviously lol I get Fridays off too ;D. At least we have more time to do it! I started PvP late back in the day I didn’t have time even if I wanted it. But now we starting fresh! Hope they hold off TBC crap for at least a year

I’ll still be on some pvp though. Just can’t try that again with my current situation.

I got Grand Marshal back in the day, but I was also 17. I don’t have that kind of time at 31, and neither should you rofl.

Don’t you need to grind like 14 hours a day every day to hit rank 14?

Yes. Every day for MONTHS. You have to be the top person with accumulated honor every week to climb to it. I had to literally no-life the game for 6 months to get it. If you have a job, family, friends or ANYTHING (which most of us now do), it’s going to be impossible.

You mean 48 hour AV battles?

All your responses make me warm on the inside lmao. I have no life on the weekend so I’m going to try my best. I just pray the important people in my life understand :(… Being highwarlord means more than friendships cmon. It’s the title of all titles.

I did PvP for fun. I don’t remember my rank (on my inactive account) but I managed to grab the blue hunter gear set. Didn’t use it though, as I was in a semi-hardcore raid guild. Once you’re in T2+ that grind really isn’t worth it. Plus I was active duty military and there’s no way I was swinging 12+hours daily. Heck, I’m retired and can’t do that now, I got kids.

I will be interested to see the first crop of no-lifers though!!

Nah. No way in hell I have the time these days… I sadly work around 55hours a week with 10 hours commute time. Plus a girlfriend and I run my own business now as well. Between that and then Gym time and actually trying to take a dump, eat and sleep? Then my project car?

Yeah not even going to try to be honest. Just going to focus on raiding this go around. It’ll be more than enough to hang.

First sarj for me on horde. I hadddd purple I think, my first char ever still has the helmet unf can’t wait to get that set back on my new war

Hahahahaha “on the weekend”???

You’re vastly underestimating the amount of time needed to grind rank 14. A lot of the OG GMs account shared to keep the grind going 24 hours a day, and even then I never saw it being done in less than a week. I guess it depends on what Honor system they implement. It was a lot easier later on.

I’m going for high queue lord

I didn’t find it hard I did all the BG weekends and played nonstop as a kid so I’m not that terrified by the grind. I’ll get close if anything

The weekend is not enough if it’s anything like it was back then. I grinded for at least 5 or 6 months, every single day, about 12-14 hours per day. It was hands down the worst thing I’ve ever done in my gaming career. You couldn’t pay me to do this grind again.

Sadly, your pvp rank will be the new arena rank trash talk. Words of advice, don’t lose to rank 10 or below at 12 or higher. You will be belittled real fast. It will be the metric norm to judge your pvp abilities and open doors to join rank 14 grind premades.

Not to crush your hopes and dreams, but you got no shot with a schedule like that.
